If you know any thing about Black people you know we are skeptical of any one who comes to us for help at 10 minutes before game time

May the Lord bless you and take you Home for your Sacrifice
We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Being that the neighbors were so nosey and bothered by the home, an simple investigation inside the dwelling would have told them he was a veteran. There is one thing a veteran will make sure they receive, their DFAS retirement or VA disability money. A simple call to DoD, DFAS, VA or the Postal Service for forward mail, would have placed them in contact with the veteran. I'm sure neighbors knew he was a veteran. If not, going through his home, would have had evidence so.

"Depends on who is the flavor of the month"

When you read corporate websites you see many promises, and responsibilities to the communities, people, customers, and the world.  I took time today to read JPMorgan Chase numerous sites, and if they really do what they promise, they could change the world.  But, my purpose for searching their sites was to find out what are their promises, policies, regulations, and dedications.  My single problem showed me they are falling quite short.  My favorite is their "responsibility" to Soldier, Veterans and their Families.  I dropped their military banking account because of the numerous fees, and "WE" bailed them out.  That's another Oprah Show.

We Spent all day calling JP Morgan Chase for help when we noticed a customer of theirs has an automatic draft stealing our military disability money from our account, to pad his JP Morgan Investment account.  We had his name, Joseph H Choi, and the last 4 digits of his account - 8831. But we were told so many excuses, I lost count.  None one said, "Hold on, let me fix that."  So, I wonder, can I just get an account and routing number, and take money from it without the owner's permission #JPMorganChase  doesn't seem to think it's a problem.

I spent 27 years in the Army, my husband spent 28 years. We live on this money. Over the course of a couple of months, over $3000 was deducted.  Of the many calls, all but one gentleman treated us with empathy, dignity and a priority.

I must take the time and raise my hand (and finger) to salute the rude behavior of Carmen Harris in the JPMorgan Chase Executive Office.  How she ever got that job is beyond my comprehension.  I have fired civilians who lack customer service, and get irritated at those we service come to for help. Maybe CEO James Dimon, needs to look less at the bank branches and the NASDAQ, and look more at the corporate office beyond his mahogany desk.

Corporation purporting their commitment to Veterans sounds good, patriotic, and just another P.R. talking point.  A telemarketer called me last week for a donation to our wounded troops.  I told him I was one.  But he keep on giving me his pitch.  "So can I count on you for a pledge of $30," he concluded.  Our conversation ended when I asked what percentage was administrative fees, and how much actually goes to the cause.

All I wanted was the automatic draft to stop.  They claimed they couldn't find this individual because the company is so big.  I replied, as is the U.S. Army, and when I was a Media Relations Officer, media outlets would contact me to find individuals in the theater. We are talking about more individuals than JP Morgan claims they have.  But I find that needle in the haystack; the soldier, unit, or command. I would then escort them to wherever they are serving our country, in the battlefield.  With a full name, and the last four of an account, if JPMorgan Chase can't locate an individual, they need to fire some computer analyst, or data management individuals, and/or upgrade their hardware. Because an Army Private can do that work after just a year in.  No one would do anything to assist so I had called the #FederalTradeCommission & filed a police report against JP Morgan.  A corporation that states their responsibility is to honor Soldiers, Veterans and their Families. My husband and I did not feel honored today, we felt as if we were a bother, and our problem not worth their time.  Are they getting tired of the OIF and OEF Veterans already?  If you are tired, or starting to forget us, go to a Veterans Administration Hospital, and ask a Vietnam Veteran, "Hey buddy, when you got back from Vietnam, how was that parade?"
My happy ending?  The Federal Trade Commission was so nice, and complimentary.  They went beyond a mile for this veteran's smile.
