Here are some interesting home appliance ideas that were recently presented in a contest for Electrolux. Some of them are a little out there!
Electrolux is known for its bold and sometimes ridiculous concepts, and the Swedish appliance manufacturer holds a contest every year to encourage young designers to submit their innovative/cockamamie ideas. And this year's finalists? Well, they're just as bonkers as you'd expect.

This is a GREAT article that shows several interesting insights into how we should be looking at cybersecurity issues today. It's a great read!
While the Internet has given us the ability to run down the answer to almost any question, cybersecurity is a realm where past myth and future hype often weave together, obscuring what actually has happened and where we really are now. If we ever want to get anything effective done in securing the online world, we have to demystify it first.

Just as expected, Amazon's just-announced Fire Phone features a unique interface that is quite a bit different than what you'll see on pretty much any other smartphone on the market. While the...

Ever since we humans gave up the nomadic life and started building homes, architecture had one goal: To make life better for humans. But now, a new architecture is taking shape in remote, frozen corners of the world. And it's not designed for humans. It's for machines. Here is a neat look at NASA's concept of what "could" be mankind's first interstellar spaceship. Very cool to at least see something on the horizon! (Even if it's a very long horizon).
This is NASA's idea for a warp drive spaceship, capable of interstellar travel. It's not a fantasy sci-fi ship but a concept based on the equations of Dr. Harold White—lead at NASA's Eagleworks Advanced Propulsion Physics Laboratory—who also works in ion engines and plasma thrusters.
