We attended the show at your venue last night and we are very disappointed in how the entrance was managed. The show was to start at 7:30 and doors were to open at 6:30. Since most of the tickets were reserved seating, including ours, a 7pm arrival time should have been perfect. Both entrances were poorly set up and understaffed. Security outside was overwhelmed and were not able to do their job correctly and ticket takers inside the door were equally overwhelmed. We did not get to our seats until after 8pm and the show had started 1/2 our before. I expect a professional concert venue to be professionally managed. The fans were patient and in good spirits. If the weather had been poor, what was the plan? Please offer me some assurance that 1st Bank Center knows how to run an event. I am hesitant to attend a show if this is the best you can do. Sincerely; MikeT

WTF? This venue is VERY poorly managed! Stood in line for almost an hour, in the cold, to get in to the 11/24 Dead & Co show. We were there at 7 for a 7:30 performance. Ended up missing the beginning of the show! This place sucks!!

Awful planning for an 'event' center. Parking could not have been worse - it is as if they had never held an event before, and were completely unable to handle the amount of vehicles/people. They continued to send cars into the parking garage, which was full, resulting in an even longer delay!! I will never attend a large event here again - ruined the night before it had a chance to start.

THE WORST EVER, DONT GO! We had a group of people attend the Jim Gaffigan Show. Our seats were folding chairs, and they were placed so close together that you had to turn sideways just to avoid hitting the person sitting in front of you. I am only 5'3, and I had to tuck my feet under my chair, so that my feet did not poke the person sitting in front of me in the back (because the back of the folding chairs were open). The seats were so small and close together, if someone wanted to pass by you to get to their seat, the entire row would stand, and walk to the aisle. No, I am not exaggerating, you COULD NOT squeeze in front of them to pass without possibly kicking, or falling over the row in front. We arrived to our seats about 20 minutes before the show was supposed to start, and we sat there, very uncomfortably, for 50 minutes before the show even started. This is because the show started 30 minutes late. The tardiness would not have been a problem, if any of us were the least bit happy, but it was hard to be. Everyone in this section was so discouraged, and talking amongst themselves, wondering if they would be able to sit in the seats through the entire show. The show ended up starting over a half hour late, and the management decided to not turn the air on during the entire show. The Lady next to me had her bare arm pressed against mine (not her fault, because we were packed like sardines), the problem was, she was so hot she was dripping sweat that was then running down my arm. The person on the other side of my dad continued to yell at the person behind him, because he was getting kicked in the back. By the time the show started, our buts were numb and our backs hurt. This was the worst show experience any of us had encountered! Why ever return to a venue that you wish you never came to in the first place!

This place needs help. Bad. I am a resident of Broomfield and have been attending events at this venue since it first opened. I live close enough that I have the luxury of being able to walk to the venue, and have seen everything from hockey, basketball, cage fighting, circus shows, concerts, and most recently, comedians. Reading through the other reviews you might think that people are posting based on one bad experience or that it couldn't possibly be as bad as they say. I can tell you having been to a large number of events here, not only is it really that bad, it seems to be getting worse! This place just can not handle crowds. Walking there at least eliminates the parking nightmare that others endure, but not the nightmarishly long lines to get in the building. And I don't mean standard security lines, I mean you are going to miss the first part of the event even though you arrived in plenty of time kind of lines. It is just embarrassing. Please get better.

Parking was finally easily accessible and the sound was on point. I am convinced that 1st bank center waters down there liquor bottles to make an extra buck. Charging 13$ for a double anything should get an average person a good buzz especially after drinking 2. This was not the case. I will not EVER support the alcohol of food services at this place again.

This is the WORST place to see an event. Traffic/parking is horrible. Staff for the facility are terrible. Arena is average. I have been here multiple times (most recently last night to see Jim Gaffigan). Each time I've gone to an event here, it seems like they are surprised by the number of cars that come to the event. It takes 45 mins to an hour to get from the interstate (25) and into the facility (barely 1/2 mile). The parking/operations geniuses make cars take random/circular routes to finally find a parking spot. Once you get into the arena, the staff inside make sure you enjoy the concert/event by yelling conversations to each other about work/kids/other. If you want to have an enjoyable experience at a concert/event -- go anywhere else in the Denver metro area.

This venue is inexcusably terrible! It is a relatively new facility purpose built as a multi-use venue that seems to have ignored any concept of what would make a good event center. I can excuse venues that have changed purpose or scope over time or had preexisting constraints that make things challenging. This place started from scratch with no such limitations and they managed to engineer it to suck from the get go! The acoustics are miserable and parking / access is an absolute nightmare! As evidenced by the other poor reviews they continue to guess at how to manage traffic flow and parking. I was also stuck in my car for an hour after getting there while being directed through a parking garage with no spaces and eventually to the "overflow" lot, only to spend another hour+ stuck in traffic after the show to travel a 1/2 mile to the "access" road. The floor seating "accommodations" for live events are smaller than the most cramped airline seats you can imagine and no credit card capability for refreshments? Are you kidding me? At a facility named to promote a BANK? I am done with this place and will not be coming back - totally not worth the hassle.
