While it is a bit busy and slightly overpriced, IT IS SO WORTH IT!!! The sliders and onion rings are sooo gooooood. There is a variety of burgers and other food. The fries are ah-mazing!!! Did I mention the dessert? NO? Okay, well, the milk shakes are FABULOUS!!! The sundaes are so delicious!!! Everything is fresh. The staff is quite friendly, as is the environment. I also LOVE the view of Union Square. This is such an awesome place to go to with family and friends!!! I'll be going back, and trust me, it's all worth it!!!

Arrived about 2 pm and was seated quickly. Place was packed. Service was friendly and helpful. Burgers are excellent. Lots of choices for burger types. Grilled chicken was a little tough but tasty. Zucchini fries are a must. Very good! Priced reasonably. A great menu for different shakes. My hubby and I will be back.

While the burger was adequate for the price... I was introduced to boozy shakes here. It changed my life.

Oh Hubert, we had such high expectations. To make a long story short, we arrived right before the dinner rush. It took about 15 minutes to get seated, which was the amount of time estimated, so + for the accurate time of seating. After we sat down, the experience as a whole went slowly down hill. To start, my coke was a bit flat and it took me a few minutes to wave down a waiter to switch to something else. It took me another few minutes to get his attention so that I could get a filled bottle of ketchup. It seems like the staff has laser eye line of sight and don't see anything except whats in front of them. It improved by the end of the night, but we were about finished by then - so negative points for that. The food was prepared well. I got the Hubert Burger and it was moist for a buffalo patty. Unfortunately the toppings weren't applied with much care. The spinach was all to one side and the caramelized onions weren't evenly distributed either. I had to open up the burger and center everything myself. Also, by the time I got the burger the bottom was already a bit soggy, so taking time to center everything didn't help with the already drenched bottom half. All-in-all, this felt more like a $10 burger and not a $23 burger. I guess the extra $10 pays for the experience/location/ambiance. Unfortunately only the location deserves anything higher than a neutral recommendation. We also ordered the sliders. They were OK. Nothing noteworthy either way. One potential positive note is that the milk shakes looked good. I'm not a big milk shake person and my fiance doesn't handle them well - (TMI, I know) - so we didn't order any, but the presentation of their milk shake sampler looked quite delish

Food was delicious; however the service was AWFUL!!!! That is why I am giving it one star! We were seated quickly. The waiter took forever to get us water and then we waited even longer to have our order taken. We ordered a milkshake but the waiter didn't even pay attention to what we ordered and had to ask him twice about it!! The waiter never came by to ask how our food was or even refill our waters they didn't even give us silverware or napkins til we had to ask for them after we got our food. We had to ask the bus boy for water. Food was great but the serviced killed it for us!

Stopped by Burger Bar after shopping at Macy's, since it's conveniently located on the 6th floor. There's a great view of Union Square from this restaurant, but sadly, I can say that the view is the only good thing about this place. Service and food are mediocre. My burger was pretty similar to what you have in a Carl's Jr. An overcooked beef patty with no flavor on a tasteless bun. Clearly, a tourist trap. Dessert? No, thank you.
