And this is a pretty slick intro to all the power and functionality of Google Maps.
Google Maps originally shared:

Along with today's launch of Google Maps 6.0, we also launched a new website where you can interact with some of Google Maps' best features across desktop and mobile. Try going indoors with indoor Google Maps; getting driving, biking, walking, or transit navigation; explore far reaches of the world with Street View; make and share custom maps; and edit the map with Google Map Maker.

The site is accessible from both computers and mobile devices. Check it out @ maps.google.com/starthere

Awesome launch by the GMM team today!
Google Maps originally shared:

Update: A couple qs we've been seeing, just to clear things up: Q: What locations are available? A: Check our Help Center for the full list: http://goo.gl/0l9J3 Q: How can I add a floor plan? A: Use our nifty uploader tool: http://goo.gl/P6wCd Q: Having technical issues? Let us know in the Maps Help forum: http://goo.gl/P6wCd Cheers!

Today, Google Maps is entering a new frontier: mapping the indoors. As part of this morning’s launch of Google Maps 6.0 for Android, you can use your phone to see detailed floor plans of airports, malls, large stores, and other public spaces; get a more accurate location indoors; and find your way around large buildings. The familiar ‘blue dot’ can show you where you are indoors and automatically detect what floor you’re on. And it’s all seamlessly integrated into Google Maps for Android.

To play with a demo -- visit maps.google.com/indoor

There is still plenty to share. Check back throughout today for lots of screenshots, more videos, and more information about indoor Google Maps and Google Maps 6.0 for Android.

Amazing view of Mount St. Helens. You can really see how much of the mountain was blown off. The views of spirit lake are also great.

The puzzles were well done and had good variety. Nothing was crazy hard, and they monitor your progress as you go and can provide hints by text message to keep you going. The story was fun too. My wife and I bought tickets for a slot that had a group of four already, and we worked well together, but there's a lot to solve so I don't recommend this for groups of four or less.
