At Pescatore Restaurant, a neighborhood staple for over 15 years, we believe that an excellent meal and delicious wines should be accessible without breaking the bank. Great for private events as well

Great little Italian joint that is has a fantastic dining atmosphere as well as a menu that isn't too overwhelming. The food is prepared well, the portions are just right. We had a 3 choice appetizer with Salmon Tartar, the Fresh Ricotta w/ mint and honey, and the Broccolini w/ Lemon. We also shared a Cesar Salad then ordered half portioned pastas. This was MORE than enough food for two people....But when in Rome, so we had the house Chocolate Pizza as well...too much! :) But great. Definitely would return to this joint.

We went here with out-of-town family recently. We walked in without a reservation, well-into a Saturday evening and only had a 20-minute wait at the bar for a table -- lucky! It's got a nice neighborhood atmosphere, despite the midtown location. The flatbread appetizer we shared was quite nice, but I didn't care for the seafood platter appetizer we shared -- all the deep-fried bits just tasted of salty sameness. However, my main course of lobster fettuccine was very good, and everyone else really enjoyed their entrees as well. Definitely a nice place to go for a glass of wine and some pasta.

I ordered a catering order for my office lunch today and it was amazing! Not only was the food excellent, but the delivery men were so nice and helpful and the restaurant even called me to let me know the food was on the way. I can't put the leftovers away because 3 hours later, people are still going back for more!

Lovely bread and olives. Pasta Rigatoni alla nonna was good although not much eggplant. Fresh basil and grated Parmesan.

Literally the best food ever. I had the cream based fettucini Alfredo and they took a plain dish and turned it into the most delicious pasta I've ever had. The octopus app and the mussels were amazing! The service was unlike anything we have in LA-they were attentive and full of information, and checked on us often. The wine was soo yummy and it was my favorite restaurant experience in NY!!! I definitely recommend!!!
