My comic collective SpiderForest has gathered an anthology-style coloring book with line art from our fantasy, sci-fi, and other amazing webcomics! It's on Kickstarter now and only has about $250 to go to its goal! Please take a look!

I didn't see a lot of movies as a kid, so maybe that sense of betrayal of my childhood is missing for me. But I've never quite understood why people get up in arms about a movie nobody's seen yet. And I wish original ideas got the budget and attention from Hollywood that remakes do, because I definitely think it would solve this problem.

Are you unintentionally giving your characters a time-out?
Comics can suffer from this worse because it takes so long to get through the story, but the part about the protagonists not being able to react to sneaky antagonist background actions hits embarrassingly close to home. Still trying to figure that out.

Good reminder of how powerful design - even unintentional design - can be.
