If this goes through, the Internet wins.
In an editorial published earlier today, FCC chairman Tom Wheeler laid out the broad strokes of the agency's upcoming proposal for new Open Internet rules. The biggest change is one net neutrality...

Lol that's an awesome way to get your point across...
The most controversial aspect of FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler's revised net neutrality proposal is the so-called "fast lane" provision that would allow ISPs to charge companies extra cash for faster...

Oh the irony... Computers can now read CAPTCHAs better than humans can. I doubt humans have a 99% accuracy for CAPTCHAs.

$16 billion for WhatsApp? To put that into comparison...

Google bought Android for $50 million
Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion
Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion
Lenovo bought IBM's PC division for $1.75 billion
Microsoft bought Nokia for $7.2 billion
Microsoft bought Skype for $8.5 billion
Google bought Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion - then sold it for $3 billion.

Yup, overpaid. Definitely overpaid.

Anyone using WhatsApp? Well, Facebook has just agreed to buy the popular messaging service for a whopping $16 billion.

Once the numbers start showing, it might actually be a good indicator of ISP performance.

Soon, YouTube viewers might have a better idea why their videos take so long to load. Google will launch its Video Quality Report next week, a service which will rank internet service providers...

I think this is an extremely brilliant way for dealing with rage quitters. Put them all together since that's their style of play, justice is served!
Anyone who has played an online game before has likely encountered it. Maybe you're on a team that's doing poorly. Or maybe it's one-versus-one, and you're just stomping all over the other side....

I've always wondered why can't all websites encrypt their traffic, and why certificates have to cost that much.

Seems like someone else thought the same. Here comes free certificates for everyone.
Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority brought to you by the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG).

I had a serious toothache for days and started calling around for same day consultation and managed to find this dental clinic that would offer me a spot. Not only did Dr Kendrick managed to fix me up right on the spot, the service there was excellent and professional. I'm going to get all my dental work done here from now on.

My experience with this restaurant started good, the person who served us seems like the manager/owner. He was polite in the beginning, but didn't feel professional enough for the price, which is still fine. At the end of my meal when I approached the counter to settle my bill, I was sent back to my seat and told that my bill will be with me really soon. After about 10 minutes, it still didn't seem like my bill is coming, so I asked the waitress to fetch me the bill. Another 10 minutes later, the person who served me at the beginning literally threw my bill at my table from about a meter away and just turned away with a really annoyed expression on his face. Me and my friend was totally taken by surprise and didn't understand what triggered the reaction. It took him about 5 minutes more to come back to collect my payment.
