If the cocktails and charcuterie are any indication of what's going on in the dining room, this place has got a lot going for it. Met up with a colleague after work in the lounge area and was extemely impressed. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive and the food and drinks we're exceptional. It's a must try for any craft cocktail and cured meat enthusiasts.

Thwaiter was pissy. He copped an attitude and acted as if he was incapable of service. Frikken dork. Food was great. Never going back there again

One of my favorite steakhouse in Boston! the cowboy prime rib eye is a massively flavorful steak. If you look for a bold steak, this is as good as it gets in Boston. The sides are not bad either. Not crazy about the decor but it makes for an enjoyable evening (only been there for dinner)

Went for a drink and some apps after work at the bar. The bartender Asher was really cool. He even made us a 'custom' drink when we told him what type of drinks we like. They have after work appetizer specials which were tasty.

My wife and I were visiting Boston from Texas this weekend and had a terrible experience at KO Prime. The bar area was noisy, cramped, and the waiter had a ridiculous attitude. Drinks were fine, but then dinner was terrible. I ordered the bone-in Rib Eye (40 oz with the bone) which was plenty large and cooked to order, but a terrible piece of beef with zero marbling and huge chunks of fat. My wife had the 10 oz filet which was not a very good cut either (not so lean). We also had the short rib mac and cheese which sounded good in theory but was a greasy mess. Add to all this that the service was indifferent if not condescending, the air conditioning non-functional (it was probably 78 degrees in there, and the cocktail waiter blew off our concerns about it "tell me about it it's been that way since I started here"), a noisy crowded ambiance, and it all added up to a terrible, overpriced experience ($210 for two including a couple of drinks). Grill 23, Palm, Morton's, Mooo, Capital Grill... any of these are far superior options in Boston to KO Prime which is a miserable excuse for a steakhouse.
