Great subs and TERRIFIC Steaks. Yes, the steak is worth a detour from I-95. No, it's not that easy to get there. But very well worth the effort. This is the way it should be -- but rarely IS at other places. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding and the best Philly Cheesesteak by far! Hot peppers are good too!. No matter if the line is out the door for food, they will serve you real quick.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who was a PA native and had been a longtime Philly resident. Safe to say, I trust his judgement. My brother had been living in PA for about a year and had tried a bunch of the more well-known, touristy chains and hadn't been all that impressed, so he was willing to give this place a try. We were coming from downtown Philly and this place was like 8-9 miles away in a little town--not the most convenient, but what price a great Philly Cheese steak? After finding street parking in a nearby neighborhood, we entered the tiny little shop. There was a line of about 5-6 people, and it was like 5:30. It gave us a chance to look at the menu figure out what we wanted. I opted for the spicy peppers cheese steak and my brother just got a regular steak and cheese. I ended up impulsively ordering a tiramisu as well when I saw their dessert case. The lady taking our order was super-nice and we got our food after about 10-15 minutes. The sandwiches were HUGE, not sure how long exactly, but they had to have been longer than 12". We were debating whether to eat it there or at home, since my brother's place was like another 30 minutes away, but there really was no decent seating to be had in the place and we were still kind of full from our lunch at Wursthaus Schmitz, lol. We decided to take a few bites in the car to taste it fresh and then eat the rest at home. I LOVED my spicy pepper cheese steak! The tender meat, gooey cheese, and spicy peppers tucked into that fluffy roll resulting in a perfect melange of flavors--yum! I ended up taking a few more bites than i thought i would in the car, and it was still good when we got them home. Sadly, I had absolutely no room for that tiramisu so I never did get to taste it. According to my brother, it was very good :P

Great scene and service. As others have said, the meat is chopped VERY fine. You have to really love that style, and if I did I would give them 5 stars. Wait staff gives you all kinds of suggestions if they don't know you. I went with fried onions and Wiz (Provolone is for pork and hoagies.. NOT for cheesesteaks.) She offered sauce and I went with it. You will need the supplied fork with such a steak. The fresh roll overflowed with juicy stuff. Beer could have been colder, but that's nitpicking. Sort of a tossup with Chubby across the street (with their hand cut fries.) I recommend going to either place off meal time. It's the only chance of getting a sammy cooked to order.

Been going here for years. Best cheesesteak in Philly and the suburbs. They're always crowded for that reason. Tom is the man, Marge is always friendly, makes you feel like family.

Hands down delasandro's is the reigning king of Philly cheesesteaks! Don't expect to dine in because the place will be packed! But I promise you will not leave unsatisfied! I'd recommend this place to anyone who comes looking for an amazing cheese steak! I tried genos and pats , they were okay but delasandro's was amazing!

Dalessandro's has the BEST Philly Cheesesteak in town! Anytime an out-of-towner comes to visit me and wants the REAL Philly Cheesesteak experience, this is where I take them. They have top quality steak and rolls and will load it up with all your favorites fixings. Not only is their food great, but their service is always quick and friendly. They are the best, hands down!
