The Reserve Bank of Australia has decided to leave the official cash rate unchanged at 2.00%.

This approach was widely anticipated by financial markets as the Reserve Bank assess the impact of tightening in the investment housing market and falls in the Australian dollar.

Even though the cash rate has remained unchanged, lenders are making daily changes to lending rates so it's still wise to talk to our Leasing & Finance team to ensure you're still in the right finance solution.

At its first board meeting marking the brand new financial year, the Reserve Bank of Australia has decided to leave the official cash rate unchanged at 2.00%.

The Reserve Bank has continued with its wait and see approach after a week of turmoil on financial markets as a result of the Greek financial crisis.

Even though the cash rate has remained unchanged, there are still daily changes in the finance market as a result of increasingly intense competition amongst lenders.

This is a reminder that superannuation for the April to June 2015 quarter is due and payable by 28th July 2015.

As of 1st July 2014, superannuation is paid at a rate of 9.5% of gross ordinary time earnings.

Please ensure you have processed and paid your superannuation for all of your employees by the due date to avoid penalties.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of your superannuation, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
