This is THE place for IPAs in this part of town. Pretty good, echo-park inspired food. The buffalo cauliflower might make you forget about wings all together. Relaxed atmosphere for brunch but on Fridays and Saturdays, it's a scene. Camp out early and order small plates to really enjoy it. Excellent cocktails.

Mohawk is our default spot if we want to chill out with beers and a snack. So many great vegan options, vast tap list, and a great atmosphere. A real contender for best all-around restaurant/bar in Los Angeles.

I decided to go to Mohawk Bend because I love visiting vegan/vegetarian restaurants. After doing research about the restaurant, I was very eager and excited for a night out at Mohawk Bend. While being seated, we had to go through a maze of people at the bar to get to the dining room. The dining room was decent though. About 10 minutes later we got to meet our waiter. The rest of the night we'd see him randomly every 10-20 minutes and when we did see him we'd have to wave our arms in the air to get his attention. We tried to be as patient as possible but we were waiting for a while to order drinks and food. There was even a time when we were given the wrong drink and had to wait another 10 minutes before seeing him again to let him know of the error. The food took a while to be served. After waiting for so long, we were hoping the wait was worth it. but were very disappointed. The meals were both very dull and bland. Also our falafels were very hard and not hot so they might've been done and waiting for some time to be served. The restrooms were also upstairs which obviously would make it difficult for customers with disabilities. The bathrooms were constructed with plywood boards. No drywall or paint. Just plywood. Looked very tacky. The whole night just turned into one giant disappointment. Horrible service, high price meals for disappointing bland food resulting in an all around regrettable experience. I do not recommend Mohawk Bend.
