I thought the park is great. Very informative and representative of the way people lived in the early settlement of Fla. I and my family lived here in the 1950's, my dad was the principal of the little two room school that was moved to the park several years ago.

My family and I had a great time exploring Fort Christmas Historical Park! We went on a Sunday, so the gift shop was closed -- but we knew that it would be ahead of time. As an added bonus, the great granddaughter of Bud Yates happened to be in the Yates House --- they were visiting with guests and took the time to share with us a little about the house, as well as her memories there as a child.
