Magnolias is a wonderful restaurant!! Where else do you find such a friendly out-going owner!? There is a reason this business has lasted over 14 years and has received awards in such a small town. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone trying to impress that special someone or something as simple as a few drinks at their bar!!

I love Magnolia's specials. There is always something new, interesting and fabulous to try. The food and the atmosphere are great. I have been to tons of events catered by Magnolia's and at The Forum. They have always been top notch.

EVERYTHING about my experience at that restaurant was incredible, the food=OMG YUM, the ambiance=awesome and the staff=where do I begin with how incredible they were to me. I forgot my graduation card there with $500 cash in it. To my enormous relief, my kind and AMAZINGGG server Molly had set it aside for me. And to top it all off, the owner Lisa not only mailed it to me all the way to Chicago but she also turned the cash into a check for safe sending. THESE ARE GOOD PEOPLE!!!!! They care so much about their customers. Wish I still lived there to go back again and again. THANK YOU SO MUCH MAGNOLIAS!!!!!!!

Great Atmosphere, good restaurant. The food is a bit overpriced for what you get, but at the same time you can't get much better in this town. Even if you do, it's not any less expensive. I love their specials, always something different. There are a few things I'm not really fond of, but my wife likes a lot of their food as well. They have a greek olive chicken kind of thing that's good, their chicken fried steak is good, and their bama blue fillet is really good. I wouldn't discount this place just because a few reviews are bad. Sometimes you get a bad server or the server is having a bad day, this can happen anywhere. I've gone to places and had the same server who was great last time be a mess the next time. A restaurant should be judged by its service, but not soely on that one part.

This place doesn't deserve one star. We were here for a private Christmas party through my husband's work. The food was terrible. We had 4 selections to choose from - steak, chicken, fish, or veggie pasta. I ordered the veggie pasta. It consisted of undercooked macaroni, about a half dozen black olives, a few slivers of sun dried tomatoes, and some wilted arugula which was completely drenched in olive oil which made it a greasy mess. Honestly, a "veggie" pasta should include vegetables. Olives and sun dried tomatoes really don't make the cut. My husband ordered the tilapia which was extremely dry and mealy and was covered in tortilla chips for a crust. It came with mashed potatoes, which doesn't make sense to me. Both had terrible flavor. The pre-dinner salad was mediocre at best - mixed salad greens that were not very fresh with one slice of tomato, onion, and cucumber respectively. The dinner rolls were pre-made and cold. The servers passed out dessert - there were many choices, but you didn't get to choose. What they handed you was what you got. I had the "oreo cupcake" which was a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting with an oreo stuck in the frosting. Honestly, Hostess makes better cupcakes. Overall, terrible food. I think my husband's company wasted their money.

We ate here for a Christmas party (order off menu) in December of '08 and it was amazing....can't wait to go again! It's a little costly if you don't have the $$ and that's why we haven't really been back yet! Two broke college students!!
