We were lucky to be invited to the Wired 2014 event - 26 speakers on stage, plus one roboticist remotely beamed in

WIRED2014 kicked off yesterday at London’s Tobacco Dock to a packed audience of over 600 delegates. Editor David Rowan, opened the event, introducing the first session, Decoding the Body, featuring Anne Wojcicki from gene-testing platform 23andMe, and one of our WIRED Innovation Fellows, Nina Tandon, who 3D-prints human bone in the lab.

The morning continued with the Technology without Limits session, featuring
Ionut Alexandru Budisteanu, the student who invented an AI-controlled
self-driving car, and Stuart Turner, a quadriplegic software tester who beamed himself into Tobacco Dock and flew a drone remotely to promote open-source software. This was followed by Culinary Creativity, where Sam Bompas described cooking with lava.

The afternoon featured sessions from Google Zeitgeist, Oslo Freedom Forum and talks from leading psychologists, artists, designers and CTOs. The day concluded with delegates attending the Test Lab with Telefónica for a chance to get hands-on with the latest tech. Missed it?
