What I saw was the Caprice hamstrung by a blown G80 and terrible tire choice for the sand. Which is to say that if someone fixed the diff in the Caprice and put identical tires on both cars, the Caprice would've been at least even with the CV.

Removing cars from King and/or Queen would make no sense as it would remove needed parking spots as well as underutilizing the roads. A far better approach would be only allow auto traffic on King one-way Westbound and on Queen one-way Eastbound (to pair up with Adelaide and Richmond). Leave the streetcars as 2-way traffic. This would move turning cars out of the way of the streetcars, retain some parking and permit timing the traffic lights to expedite traffic movement.

Regulators are so silly sometimes. What they should do, is implement a clean-up tax on nuclear fuel using sites to make their power non-competitive with neighboring electricity suppliers with power surpluses (like Quebec). Then the plant will close and that'll be the end of it.

I want simple-to-use. I only give half a crap about what it looks like.

I just noticed that the (so called) usability experts have been at it again, and have now given Twitter a cleaner look. This also means that it takes more clicks to get things done, and that makes me angry at usability people who seem to find a way to hide things all the time.

PLEASE STOP HIDING THINGS! I don't know where you put them, and I don't want to have to go looking every time.

Hey you kids, where did you hide my lawn????

I'm saddened that so few of the many people I reached out to (and who purport to support gun control measures) would not readily sign a petition to reduce the demand for gunpowder. And yet, there has been almost no interest.

Of the very few comments I received back that opposed the measure:
• Not appropriate
• Too many taxes already
• Would not affect gun sales
• The real problem is mental illness

Most entertaining...I have forever been a proponent of history retold, reenacted in an engaging manner...A failing on the part of our educational system I believe (here in the States, anyway)...For the study of linguistics is fascinating and learning about history in all it's shapes, forms & intrigues is wicked awesome!! Put them together and you get some such yarn of a tale as this (youtube video stitched together by LoupGarou55)...OR, some version of 'Sherlock Holmes'...And yes, I am indeed a geek, bearing an Old English sir name...and proud of it! I'm gonna go watch this again...

hehe ;)

Worst . drink . ever All I wanted was a hot chocolate. It's a simple drink! Dog River Coffee, however, has decided to mix in various herbs and spices into their "Hot Chocolate" while still calling it "hot chocolate." I almost puked when I started drinking that hot mess. Unfortunately we were on the road at that point, so I didn't go back to throw it on the counter and tell them how horrid this drink was. Possibly the most disgusting non-medicinal drink I have ever tasted. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. If they can't be trusted to mix hot milk and chocolate syrup together, you probably shouldn't trust them to make anything more complicated. In fact, I'm a bit surprised that they manage to open the locks every single morning. Maybe they trained for that - and it doesn't invlove taste buds?

They may have everything under the sun, but they won't sell it to you and they won't help you to get it! They sell wholesale only.

This company might once done a good job, but they were purchased in November of 2012 by another company with less noble interests. They do not discount sorted materials. On the plus side, they're open 24 hours a day and their rates are still $95/ton (with a $27 minimum). And the entrance is at about 7220 8th Ave S. The gate on E. Marginal Way is an exit-only gate. I showed up with a pickup truck and they made me wait for all all the commercial vehicles to come and go. That wasted a bunch of my time. If you're stuck waiting there, they have free snacks and drinks in the office where the scales are.
