Moved to Olympia from Seattle, so I do have high expectations of food. I was very excited to try Lemon Grass. However, when served my chicken and veggies over rice, my chicken was like rubber. I've never had any chicken so bad ever. The veggies and rice were fine, but bad chicken is a killer.

Purple Passion Egg PLant Ripoff! i came in and ordered to go before closing ... which was a big misstake. . i paid over 13 dollars and barely got any food!! thinking the dish was called purplepassion i thought it would be mostly eggplant right?? NO! only 4 thin slices and only about 4 pieces on chopped chicken!! moslty ginger roots... very disapointed...on top of that they assumed i didnt need my change after ordering to go they asked me rudely did i want my change back.!!! maybe they were tired maybe i shouldve orded in the day and ordered in!!!

I have been to the Lemon Grass multiple times, both at their Tumwater location and in downtown Olympia. Although you might spend a little bit more than at some other restaurants to eat here it is defiantly worth it the food is excellent, and the people who work here are all really nice. one instance me and my Father went here and they had a large group come and so they had us change tables. Because they did this they gave us free spring rolls. I have never tried anything here that I didn't like.

The food was excellent and service was good. They do not accept American Express. Sad day. 5 stars otherwise.

This is my favorite restaurant in Olympia. Outstanding food. It's always busy, but it's easy to see why.

Nicole, the chef/owner, runs a tight ship. She and her team deliver high quality pan-Asian food. There are a variety of curry dishes (green curry, red curry, etc.) that are outstanding. Quite a few dished that play Asian riffs of lemon grass, thai basil, coconut, etc., that are outstanding. If you feel something is not right, never my experience, send it back right away as the staff are trained to treat the customers like royalty.

We travel a lot and this was our second time eating here and it was even better than the first visit. We'll come back again!
