We recently went to Fleming's for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming and we were seated in the back at a cozy table for two. I had read many reviews before going in order to have an idea of what to order. We started with the calamari which was good. Then my husband ordered the peppered steak and I order a filet, both asked for them to be cooked medium. As soon as it arrived I new it was well done, as I cut into it I was very disappointed to see that was so done it was almost dry. My husbands was a little more than well but not as well done as mine. My waiter (which I wish I could recall his name because he was fantastic) came over and immediately could see the steaks were over cooked and immediately apologized and said to keep eating our meals and sides and that he would place another order for new steaks. Then the manager Seth Berger came over and apologized and stated that the meal and all food would be taken care of but we had to pay for our bottle of wine, we explained that we weren't looking for a free meal but he insisted that they were a steak restaurant and they are known for their steaks and would happily take care of the meal. New steaks arrived shortly along with new sides all hot and perfectly done, and were delicious! We also go the lava cake after reading everyones raving reviews and it was very good as well! Our wonderful waiter came over several times to check in and gave me a birthday card, free appt card, and a box of truffles! We were speechless. The meal was very good and well worth waiting for, we will happily be going there again! Thank you Flemings for being so attentive and accommodating, I have to say so many restaurants these days do not take accountability when a meal comes out wrong nor do the waitstaff take such pride in their work...we were very pleased with the whole experience!

Great wine list, and excellent service, but food was below my expectation given the price range. I was expecting an amazing steak (prices are +45) given the price, but the steak was not as juicy as in other places. Half way through the dinner, the steak was cold...desserts was very good, and the sides as well. Mention you are celebrating something...they will give you a box of truffles at the end as a complementary gift...that was a very nice.

Having dined at several Fleming's we're confident in the quality and the Boston steakhouse was consistent. Great food, a great wine list and competent service. Although our waiter claimed to know about wine and was laughably clueless.

Went there last night. Ken was our server he was great. They gave us a cool ipad to run through the wine list with detailed descriptions. Atmosphere was great, right in the theater district. Valet was great and smooth right at the front door. Diner was really good, I went with the dry aged sirloin. Was awesome, cooked perfect got what we paid for .Felt guilty getting dessert, but we read the reviews about how great the desserts are. Ken recommend the carrot cake. This was unreal, best carrot cake I have ever tasted, and i have had my fair share .The carrot cake is worth the extra treadmill time JK
