Founded in 1948, Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union was created by, and for, people who work in the field of education. As a not-for-profit alternative to traditional banking, we offer enhanced products and services and a far more personalized, compassionate approach.
In 1948, eleven Pasadena ISD educators got together and formed what today remains a credit union whose dedication to teachers stems from one phrase, "Because teachers deserve more than just apples."
Open to school district employees within Harris, Brazoria and Galveston counties, Gulf Coast Educators is a better alternative to the mega-banks. A financial institution that, simply put, believes teachers deserve more than just apples.
