See. Now I'm going to have to go look at those reviews, and I've avoided Goodreads for the most part since Amazon acquired it. In the past Amazon reviews tended to be the most vicious. Wondering if the acquisition changed the tenor of Goodreads reviews in any way. Personally I don't read reviews of my books, other than the major reviews and even then only if my publisher or agent says I should. They are so subjective, and I can have a hundred great ones, only to be hurt by one negative one. My skin is not as thick as yours, Mike... :-)
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my little blog, Ellen. I'm starstruck! I'm still way more of a fanboy than author. Goodreads has been worse than Amazon for snarky reviews for at least the last four years or so. Most authors I know avoid it like the plague. I'm just weird.
