It seems I'm 80% right brained, 20% left brained. Not sure I buy it.

The other day, a professional translator asked me how to translate two financial terms, saying the Google translate would be useless. So, I did two things:

I looked up the terms (as I had no idea myself) on Google and was directed to a WikiPedia page for each. In one case, the intro paragraph stated the term came from English - score! For the second term, there were links to translations including English. Click and there's the correct term!

So if you're looking for a translation, try looking it up on Wikipedia first and then see if there's a translation there.

The second thing I did was submit a "better translation" to Google Translate. Maybe next time the right answer will be provided.

I have never wanted an "I <3 NY" shirt, but I DEFINITELY want this one on a T-shirt.

CinéTransat's first cancellation was last night. Maybe "Crimen Ferpecto" will be shown on the Make Up Day....

I use Speccy and CCleaner on a regular basis. Defraggler and Recuva are also installed for all my clients. Highly recommended.

I should have been more specific, though. These are for Windows computers, not Apple.

Great little hideaway. The guy who runs the place, "G", is one of the most likable and personable people you'll meet. Can be a lively crowd, especially during football matches. Order a Heineken to enjoy it in a chilled mug.

I don't want to comment on the hotel itself, rather the choice of picture used for this hotel. The picture is NOT the hotel and in fact, it's not very close to it at all. The hotel is not on the water, doesn't have nice architecture, or a tower. It's a very bland, boring square monstrosity of a building that has a very nice hotel inside, but putting this picture as the "front page" of this listing and then showing pictures of the hotel inside.....that's just not being honest.

The curries are very hit or miss and they don't cut the vegetables into small enough pieces. The side-order of fries gets smaller every week. Desserts - fugetaboutit.
