"As part of our collaborative approach, we gathered our #Partners few weeks ago to reflect on this past year. It was a great opportunity to listen, support and share best practicees between each market and from each partners.

As our #business model is entirely based on their success, it was very important for us to hear from them, in order to adapt our #solutions to their needs.

As #SouthAfrica is one of the largest economies in #Africa and also has the highest GDP per capita on the continent, its fixed and #mobile #Internet penetration rates are the highest. However, when comparing South Africa to countries with similar economy, its fixed internet penetration rate (3.37%) is far below the average (43%).

#Satellite broadband can be an opportunity to increase South Africa’s computer and internet penetration per household.

There are many #misconceptions about #satellite #broadband even if it is currently one of the fastest and easiest ways to get Internet everywhere, regardless of the discrepancies between locations.

Several products allows for the distribution of satellite broadband and today there is definitely room to adjust to local needs and requirements. Our ‘Virtual Network Operator’ offer (VNO) is an un-contented Internet broadband service that allows our partners to define and operate their own service plans. We are also proposing packaged offers, taking into consideration the flexibility that both our end-users and partners need.

Our job is not only about providing capacity; it is about building the right #partnerships with local actors at every step of the way, as ‘one size fits all’ does not work anymore, even in the satellite industry.
