Great stay at this hotel! If you are considering a trip to central Philadelphia, this is the place to stay. The suites here are 750 square feet, which is quite a bit larger than most. There were four adults and one child in our party and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. We loved everything from the balcony with it's great view of the city to the oversized kitchenette and good service. The hotel itself is surrounded by several nice parks and fountains and is close to major attractions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Franklin Institute, Please Touch Children's Museum and about 1/2 hour from Sesame Place. Embassy Suites Center City will be my choice when I'm in Philadelphia.

Front staff were excellent however elevator service was a total nightmare, I spent half my five days at the Embassy trying to get an elevator, I was on the 18th floor and even once took the steps, I think it is horrible that your housekeeping staff must use guest elevators, how do you ever expect them to get their work done. As for the free breakfast I appreciate it however the place was so cold I had to leave every time not enjoying my breakfast, sometimes the food was either cold or overcooked but it was free so why complain. FYI I don't think you treat your housekeeping staff very well at all, shame on you! On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 the highest I give you a five. This was my second stay but I don't think I will use Embassy again.

Very disappointed. My boyfriend and I planned a trip for our 3 year anniversary and the hotel situation definitely put a damper on it. We booked a non-smoking room with a king size bed. Our confirmation email stated, "Your reservation is booked. No need to call us to reconfirm this reservation." Obviously I assumed that meant we had nothing to worry about. Upon arriving (which was a ridiculous hassle of tiny streets and turning around multiple times) we were informed that there were no king size rooms available. They offered us a smoking room with 2 double beds. That is not even close to what we wanted. After some bickering they offered us a non-smoking room with 2 double beds. Ugh. We paid almost $400 for a room we didn't want and had to sleep on a small bed for our anniversary. We paid $50 a day for valet parking which was not as easy and we were told it would be. Apparently when you book a room it shows up on the hotel's computer as, "if available." That is unacceptable to me. If I book it, that should mean it is reserved and will be waiting there for me when I arrive. Why would I book ahead of time if that were not the case? We were given our tickets for breakfast as included but I was not impressed with the staff chosen to work. While the food was fine, not one person greeted us or acknowledged us the entire time we were there. The man at the omelet station complained the entire time and seemed almost annoyed that we wanted an omelet. I will definitely not return to an Embassy Suite. I would much rather pay more somewhere else!

Best place ever, such nice staff, large clean rooms, and free happy hours for guests. Only complaint is the confusing elevators, but it was fun once you get used to them
