Awesome that the NodeCopter +Chris Williams  and I did at Broad Run High School, teaching kids how to fly Parrot Ar-Drones at the Computer Science class made the local paper! Really proud of my colleagues for stepping up to spread the love of Computer Science in Schools and that it's for all kids: http://www.loudountimes.com/index.php/news/article/microsoft_brings_reality_into_computer_class797

Honored to have been a part of DigiGirlz along with +Chris Williams  where we talked with 6th-8th grade girls in DC about the joy of programming devices and that they are the future to push things like 3D printing to the next level.  They loved the demos, especially flying a Parrot Ar-Drone around the room with an Xbox controller, using nothing more than JavaScript.  Hopefully we made an impact on girls being interested in science and computers!

Can't wait to try this out with my Surface, to fly Parrot Ar-Drones with just a Windows Store Application:

Impressed by the work done by Microsoft Research on robotics and research with their work on .NET Gadgeteer among others at this past year's American Geophysical Union meeting http://blogs.msdn.com/b/msr_er/archive/2013/02/01/on-helium-and-chocolate.aspx

I guess the cat is out of the bag for Cascadia.js, that all of the Reactive Extensions, C++, C#, and JavaScript are now available: https://rx.codeplex.com/

Always enjoy Brian Beckman's blog, especially with his series on LINQ, logic programming and remotable recursion: http://rebcabin.wordpress.com/2012/09/30/linq-does-logic-chapter-6-remotable-recursion/

It's fun to work with him on a number of things and gain a lot of insight from him.  His appearances on Channel9 are pretty good too!
