Have been going here for yrs for shows. Staff us consistently rude. We waited for almost 2 hrs for a table before a show. While we watched a 6 top open for almost the entire time we were there. When we asked they said there was people ahead of us. Then 5 more tables opened up. I have never encountered worse hospitality. There only claim to fame is dan akroyd

DON'T GO if all you can get is mezzanine (second floor). "Saw" Belle and Sebastian here, and by saw I mean that I paid $45.00 to watch it on a large TV. We arrived at least 20-minutes early for the show but the rail around the level had already filled in. At that point, all you're going to see is eye-level across from you, which is the lights above the stage. By the time B&S had started the rail was 8 deep all around, and no one was seeing anything. Needless to say, it leads to people getting mad, then eventually just giving up and talking. I work for a scenic cruise company, and while our boat is certified for 137 people we cut if off at 100 so that people aren't trapped like sardines and can actually SEE something. I guess we could just load it up with 137 people, put some TVs on there, and say sorry you couldn't see the ocean, check out these TV monitors. A good way to make money and make sure people never return. I will never go back on general principle.

Expensive, rude staff, and not a single good spot to see the show in the whole place unless you are in front of everyone else

The venue is normally "ok" but I had the unfortunate experience of being stuck in the mezzanine... I love paying a lot of money to not see any of the bands that are performing. The mezzanine is the worst experience I've ever had seeing live music. And I've seen teenagers attempt to cover Slayer songs.

They book good artists but the security is terrible. Airport security is less strict than this place, and they're also incredibly presumptuous and rude. My friends and I are all in our mid twenties, and they threatened to take away our drivers licenses and started grilling us on our personal info. I don't even usually get carded very often. One security staff member pulled my friend out of line and angrily asked him "Why are you so happy?" Seriously? The security doesn't completely ruin all shows, but I go all the way to NY or CT to see anything really important to me in an atmosphere that isn't so hostile. Hopefully they read these reviews and improve their service, it's hurting their business.

Worst venu for live music. Waste of money. From over priced tickets to over bearing security.

After reading all the reviews on here, I was worried about seeing Badfish at this venue. My experience was great all around, however. The guys at the door were actually very pleasant. I read all the horror stories about security during the show. Yeah, they are on the floor during the show watching out, but my impression was they really are just trying to keep people safe. The one dude I saw getting escorted out looked like he was on bath salts or something. He had no idea what was going on. So if you don't want to be harassed, don't act like an idiot basically. The drink prices were reasonable for the city. You can still have a good time for $20. My only complaint would be that the floor is totally flat. That will obstruct your view if you are shorter. For this show, however, we were able to find great spots pretty close to the stage. My advice would be go check the place out for yourself.
