Which came first, the chicken or the…logo? In this case, the chicken did. When we develop a logo mark, we don’t go straight to the computer. We begin the process with multiple rounds of brainstorming and sketching. Once we narrow down ideas, we move on to more refined sketches and computer rendering. When a final idea has been selected, we begin applying color and putting the finishing touches on the final product.

Cassel Bear designed these labels for Steiner Dairy. The labels were designed to meet FDA Requirements for all sizes, weights, and flavors of cheese. They are applied to the deli cheese loaves.

Pleasant Wealth came to us for a logo update last year when they realized the nature of their company had changed from when we first designed their brand five years ago. They were aiming to move away from the idea of wealth as their main focus and to focus instead on the journey. We all felt the idea of sailing was an accurate depiction of what each life and financial journey looks like—we have to learn to navigate different weather and water conditions in different boats.

If you're like us, you need a little coffee boost on Monday mornings. Hemisphere Coffee Roasters is one of our favorites to brew in the studio. Cassel Bear created the Hemisphere logo to reflect the part of the world from whence the beans come. We implemented the coffee ground pattern to help give this logo an engaging concept and an edgy feel.
