Microsoft feat Scooter? Dancing ladies? I knew Azure was not the biggest success so far but is it really this bad? +Laura Czajkowski - is this what bug #1 is about? Is this the kind of support Microsoft offers Canonical? ;-)
Bad taste from #microsoft from their Azure presentation at the NDC developers conference (Lyrics from 01:30) —
"The words "micro" and "soft" don't apply to my penis"
"I use CSS as my LSD"
"XML is my XTC"

Just for the record, RedHat is also now on Azure.Jun 9, 2012
+Alberto Ruiz just for the record, any source for your statement?Jun 9, 2012
+Alberto Ruiz according to http://www.infoq.com/news/2012/06/Linux-Now-Runs-on-Windows-Azure and various other sources there is no Red Hat on Azure. Only CentOS AFAICS.Jun 9, 2012
Yup, that seems to be the case. This article I read a while ago http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/01/26/windows_azure_money_maker_not/ misled me to think it.
Anyhow, I don't see why the fact that that Canonical (and a lot of people working for Canonical) and the Ubuntu community celebrate the fact that Ubuntu and SuSE have yet another channel to reach users (and potential customers for the companies backing those distributions) has anything to do with the PR mistakes of Microsoft.Jun 9, 2012
+Alberto Ruiz Simple. I wouldn't be too proud of being associated with sth like this. Red Hat, the undisputed Linux market leader isn't ;-)Jun 9, 2012
That doesn't answer my question, but good for you :DJun 9, 2012
