Recently became a regular here. Everything I've tried I've enjoyed thoroughly, the service has been fantastic (The manager in particular is very kind, always helpful, etc.) It has quickly become one of my favorite local lunch places, and I would definitely suggest giving it a try. The lunch-time bento box meals are very reasonably priced and are a good place to start.

My wife and I are serious restaurant critics! We live in Hawaii and are here in Santa Rosa visiting family. Tonight we wanted to take our daughter and her family out to dinner since it was her birthday. We had made reservations at another place, but stopped into Toyo just because we saw it and were curious. The proprietor’s greeting was so genuinely gracious that we called to cancel the other reservation and changed it to Toyo. When our guests arrived, the graciousness continued. Our every need was accommodated, including our delightful host’s presentation of the birthday cake we brought along! We all ordered an impressive variety of meals and were delighted with each. Our guests are also serious restaurant critics, and especially for sushi. They were impressed with the quality, the presentation, and even the generous quantities of everything. As I told our host when we left, “We found your place by accident, but we will remember it on purpose!” Our family guests, who live nearby, said that Toyo surpasses all of their current favorites and is now on their list. Five stars to these folks, and we don’t often hand out five stars!

Terrible sushi. Don't let the good reviews fool you, they are far from true.

This is a good neighborhood Japanese restaurant. The servings are generous and the service is very friendly. It is a family run restaurant.

I L-O-V-E-D this restaurant, unlike what Brent Colombo said. The sushi is delicious and fantastic and the rolls were full of delight, it's a great Japanese restaurant!

The worst rolls ever. Everything drowning in Japanese Mayo or Asian BBQ sauce. Rolls were wrapped around what tasted like a Gordon’s fish stick. Don't waste your money. Check out Boathouse or Shogun.
