Portraits are not only the most important pictures you make, they can also be the most profitable. As such, portraits deserve your best effort at a perfect finish, and this webinar will help you learn the principles and best methods for helping people look their best in pictures.

Kristina Sherk (www.sharkpixel.com) joins us this month from Washington, D.C. She's a photographer and retoucher with years of experience retouching and almost as many years teaching. This is your chance to tune in Live with Kristina and learn the techniques she uses to make portraits look lively and naturally beautiful.

This event is brought to you by Photofocus and Perfectly Clear, one of the best tools for making portraits look great.

You name a digital art tool or type, and +Patrick LaMontagne has most likely tried it. His background in editorial cartooning, caricature, animals and portraits has taken him from traditional to digital creation, allowing him to find the perfect fit for his workflow and ambitions. In this live Google Hangout on Air with Techman Joe, he will mention which software and hardware he is currently using to create, and why it works for him. Everyone has their perfect workflow, and Patrick wants to share his while taking your questions. Join us and go behind the scenes with a man who is part illustrator, part cartoonist and part digital painter.

Playing Sylights diagramming tool. It's a good start, but could use some more annotation and tweaking tools. Anyone else use something similar?

Read the description carefully... this is pretty amazing.

Using traditional ballpoint pens I just have to repeat... ballpoint pens.

This image is not a photograph nor a digital painting. The details are exquisite. The artist used 8 colored Bic ballpoint pens plus black. [http://goo.gl/Bk7L8]

The artist is Samuel Silva. He has been drawing since he was two, and his day job is being a lawyer.
