Abhay Vardhan: It is interesting to see how unloved MySQL is these days. We have been using Mongodb with pretty good results but it has its own problems. Biggest one which is actually quite shocking is that there is a global lock for each write (independent of the tables). Scales well though and schema less makes some things very easy.
