Coming up on one year living here and so far I have loved it - the location is prime. I'm close to downtown but removed enough to not always be in traffic, the neighborhood is safe and walkable, the complex of shops and movie theater is so easy to get to and ensures one can never be bored, the pond and little bridge are relaxing and very well-maintained. The management staff have overall been very accommodating. Yes, there's one rather unpleasant person who works there, but the rest are so nice. The complex itself is very clean and nice: there are plants and flowers planted all around, the layout is nice, and the pool(s) - depending which side of the complex you live in - is very nice with a little waterfall and never overly crowded. Rent is getting to be quite pricey so you'll have to decide what you can afford, but I hope to stay here as long as a I possibly can!

I have lived at this complex for the past three years, that alone tells anyone that it is a hospitable and decent organization. In the past three years the whole complex has been under three different companies who have managed it. The most recent company Hancock has implemented great improvements. The bill can now be efficiently paid online, the gym is larger although a bit crowded during after work hrs, and there is less wait time for any maintenance requests. The only thing I can think of that would need improvement is the call box. As two different residence buildings have merged a recent concern is when guests come and go to the wrong callbox. The guest is able to call you and be let into the wrong building. Thankfully I prudently came out of the comfort of my apt. so my guest didn't enter the wrong building. I normally give very detailed instructions however a guest could still get lost if buzzed in through the wrong call box entrance. Also the buildings and complex are not wheelchair friendly. There is only one service elevator which is directly in the middle of the complex which may sound good but it's not. If a wheelchair guest enters through the complex from the garage it's easier because the service elevator is closer however most wheelchair guests don't drive. If the guest enters through 17th St. they have to go around the entire complex to not have to use the mini stair steps to the elevator. There is only one direct clear path which is through the Mecaslin entrance and building two. If you don't live in building two it's difficult for your guest to come to you because there either are stairs or gated doors that impede them from going through.

The staff is awful !!! They are extremely rude people...I hated any kind of interaction of interaction with the leasing office and the management in general but I had see them once in a while when collecting my packages. The entire process of applying for an apartment was so sluggish ( gives a feeling that they don't get paid for working). The leasing agents do not care whatsoever and are far from being interested in leasing the apartments. There was an incident when parking garage gates closed while my car was passing, this caused considerable damage to my car but the way the management team reacted to when I reported this was unbelievable. They just did not care nor apologize or show any kind of courtesy in addressing this issue. The apartments look nice but the construction is so poor that even with having one resident living above my apartment I would feel various heavy walking/running noises, everything just vibrates even the slightest sound feels amplified. Wont recommend this place to anyone. Management is full of nasty people!!

I am writing this review here since none takes care about me in the office. Moreover, I have submitted feedback form online and none even called me back to discuss issue. I would like to address this review to top management of this community. Me and my husband really wanted to live close to downtown and location of this community was just perfect. When we first came in to leasing office, Leasing Consultant who met us was so unpleasant and rude. She didn’t explain anything and even she didn’t show us real apartment she just showed us mock up room. However, since location was good we decided to apply for this community and it was worst decision ever. Before application we explained that we are new in USA and we just came to Atlanta few weeks ago. They didn’t even mention that they don’t accept international banking accounts or international work as proof of income. We applied online and paid $365 ($150 for admin fee, $100 for each applicant – we are two and $15 commission). Right after application Leasing Consultant called us and asked for proof of income. We sent her my husband’s US job offer letter, international bank account details with more than $20,000 deposit on it and my non-US employment confirmation. She didn’t accept it and they just declined our application. We didn’t understand the process at all. We called to the girl (her name was Anya) she transferred us to her manager and she was on vacation for 2 weeks (her name is Chaunetta Young). We were asking them to refund our money but they didn’t answer for 2 weeks, we called again Chaunetta didn’t pick up the phone. Finally, they emailed us that they will refund back only $250 and it will happen in the next 30 days (I don’t understand why). We emailed her back to explain the reason why they hold $100 and why we should wait for another 30 days. She just told us it is a policy. We asked her several times to get contacted us to their director or Customer Service Director but she never answered. If anybody can help me to contact their Customer Service Team it would be great. Community seems to be good but staff is terrible. They don’t care about prospective customers at all. They just want to cheat everybody who step into their office. Avoid them!

This review is strictly for the management staff - I had an awful experience here, and I would like to share my honest option on this place and hopefully help in some way when you are hunting for an apartment. The apartment itself is really nice. I didn't live here long enough to notice the small things, but overall it's well maintained. However, my communication with the staff has been not so positive since day one. During the process of getting my name on the lease, I wanted to pick up my packages and the manager was beyond rude to me. This was not the first time I feel uncomfortable in their office but since I had my paycheck mailed to me I had to pick it up. My friend who was (and still is) on the lease emailed the leasing office and they had agreed that I could pick up the package. However, when I walked in, the manager (not sure what her name is but I would advise you to avoid her if you decide to live here) asked me to "GET OUTTA HERE" and "NOT TALKING WITH YOU". I apologized that I understand my name is not on the lease, but technically I'm just there to pick up my friend's packages. They used the same language ie "I want you to leave". It was awful and made me almost cry. The area is nice but I'd advice you to invest more and live in other places in Atlantic Station. I left right after talking with the manager because it was unfair that they talked so rude at me and my time could be better spent on something other than getting shouted at.

Terrible staff, application turn around time is horrible. The staff was very accomodating till upto the point of submitting application and the fee. Once they got the $300 dollars for the application fee, they don't feel obligated to answer any of your questions or provide the service for the fee they are charging. While the apartments may be all right, the staff has no common courtesy to follow up on when called. Even when they say they will call back by the end of the day, there are no calls returned. Absolutely unacceptable. Beware of giving your application fee to this staff, because you may very well not get the apartment. Might was well consider the application fee as a sunk cost.
