Did you know Andrew Jackson was not the first President on the $20 bill ? It was Grover Cleveland. Andrew Jackson first appeared on the bill in 1928. The reason for the switch remains unclear.

Fun Penny Fact: On the penny, Lincoln faces to the right, while all other portraits on coins face to the left. This was not done on purpose — it was simply the choice of the coin designer.

Good Luck  ....  trying to get a Bill Pay reminder after changing your Santander "My Profile" e-mail address!

The Santander Bill Pay reminder web  page says the  * E-mail address shown can be updated by changing your Santander profile setting e-mail address.   WRONG!

When you call about it Santander says they know it's wrong. You just have to call them during normal business hours to get them and only them to change it!

In my case, my wife had developed brain tumors that had forced me to take over paying bills on-line. Using the Bill Pay information she painstakingly added for all our bills I used it. However, I found the bill pay reminder not sending reminders. When I went to the Bill Pay reminder the e-mail address was an ancient and totally defunct and unusable address with an e-mail domain that ceased to exist awhile ago.  BUT, her Santander profile was for her current and functioning e-mail address!  The Bill Pay reminder said it should be the same as her Santander profile. IT WAS NOT!

The Bill Pay reminder page lies. The reminder e-mail DOES NOT update with a profile change. Moreover, it can ONLY be changed with a phone call during normal business hours!

The REAL insult came when I called to report the web site bug! I was told I could NOT get the address changed because it required my wife to tell them.  Even after I told them my wife had cancerous brain tumors and I had Power of Attorney!

FIRST) I had the account's password and could send every sent of our money to anyone, even to a Nigerian prince who could free up 10 million dollars if I would only send him a few thousand :-)
SECOND) My wife, a former bookkeeper mind you, had 7 brain tumors that made even addition a chore. Talking to her for account details because of her condition would be stupid to ask and insulting to both of us.

I gave in at one point handed my wife the phone. SSN - OK, Date of Birth - OK - "What was the amount of your latest transaction?"!!
I grabbed the phone, what part of my conversation with Santander's crack team that gave them the idea that my terminally ill wife could know that? I had told them and told them again why that was not acceptable to even think? !!!

THIRD) I have PoA.

FORTH) It's a reminder e-mail for crying out loud! It does not require that level of security, particularly since it should be allowed with the access to the account.

FIFTH) The intent of the reminder e-mail change process is clear by the web pages * comment that it was suppose to be the e-mail address Santander has you setup in your My Profile!

Subsequent calls to fix this Santander Bill Pay Reminder bug has failed. THERE IS NO WAY for a customer to file a bug report and get something wrong fixed. I have been told I would get a call in X number of days each time I call. Nothing!

Heaven help us customers, if there is even bigger issues to report, since they seem to treat THEIR problems as really being "not our problem" it's THE CUSTOMER that is doing it wrong.

What I really want fixed is Santander's attitude that prevents them from fixing problems, digging in their heels and treating reports of problems with their system as being a completely stupid thing to even suggest. Treat us customer's like we know something and could improve their business if Santander would just listen instead of defend an obviously broken system on their end!

Good Luck trying to get that!
