Be Encouraged & Always Stay Encouraged Remember what Jesus said in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. God showed His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. C/John 15:13, Romans 5:8

FORMER PARAPLEGIC HEALED AND NOW DANCING FOR THE LORD!!!
A Google+ Inspirational Testimony:

My Interview with Sister Amanda Hallman aka Amanda GodsProphetic DancingVessel Millsap

Pastor Helen Price: Sis. Amanda when I asked you to do this interview with me, what came in your spirit concerning the interview?

Sis. Amanda: It was confirmation to what God had told me. He told me that this miracle was not going to just be for people that I personally come in contact with, but also those that I do not know. He said that He would use me as a vessel to strengthen people’s faith. So that they may know that He is still a healer and that He still performs miracles.

HP: What does the word paraplegic mean to you?

Sis. Amanda: A paraplegic to me, means one who has an impairment in motor or sensory functions of the lower extremities (waist down).

HP: How did this word affect your life.

Sis. Amanda: At first I took it really hard, because I felt like an invalid or that I would have no use because I couldn’t take care of myself. I had to have everything done for me and being that I am the type of person that is very independent, this made me feel as if my world was over.

HP: What is the difference in a paraplegic and a quadriplegic?

Sis. Amanda: Paraplegia refers to paralysis from the waist down, whereas quadriplegia refers to paralysis from the shoulders down. Meaning complete loss of function in both arms and both legs.

HP : This means that you became a paraplegic? How did this happen and for how long

Sis. Amanda: Yes, people that are diagnosed with paraplegia are known as paraplegics in the medical field. This happened as a result of a TBI otherwise known as a traumatic brain injury. A TBI is a result of trauma to the brain usually during an accident or severe fall.

This happened to me in May of 2008 and despite the doctors saying I wouldn't walk again, God raised me up on October 12, 2008.

HP: Describe to me the day that your injury occurred?

Sis.Amanda: The day this occurred I walked to work as usual even though I was feeling a little under the weather. When I arrived to work, I felt an abnormal pain in my head that I thought was a start of a migraine, however later I found out that it was an indicator that a seizure would be following. As I was sitting at my desk, I began to seize and I fell onto the floor and hit my head and stopped breathing. After the EMTs got me to breath again and I became alert, I realized that I could not move my right side and or feel it.

HP: Wow!

Sis. Amanda: I was admitted into the hospital in May and I remained there until July. During that time I had various tests done and during one test I had, they gave me valium, because I was claustrophobic but little did they know that the amount they gave me would result in me being unresponsive. After that, I realized that now not only could I not move my right leg, I also couldn’t move or feel my left leg.

HP: Wow!

Sis. Amanda: I could not feel anything from the waist down. I couldn't even feel when I needed to use the bathroom, so I had to wear diapers. In July, I was transferred to a nursing home and I was released in September to go home with 24 hour nursing care.

HP: Sis. Amanda in your journey to recovery what was your relationship with God like and how did this contribute to your totally recovery?

Sis. Amanda: During my journey to recovery, my relationship with God was very strong. I was isolated for most of the year and during that time I knew that God allowed this to happen so that He and I can spend time together. During that time, He spoke to me very clearly and He increased my faith. During that time it was revealed to me that He allowed this to happen so that I may be a testimony of the goodness of Him and how He would use me as a vessel to show that miracles were still possible. He told me that the enemy wanted to take me out so that I wouldn’t fulfill my call and to cause me to lose faith in Him, and that was the reason for the attack. It was to stop me completely!

HP: What a word!

Sis. Amanda: Once God revealed to me what He was going to do because of this, it is then that my faith was taken to a higher level. It called for such a faith that I had never experienced. There were times where I questioned God because I knew that His word says that healing is His children's bread, and even in my questioning, God said His word will not return unto Him void and that I made covenant with Him to do His will and this was a part of it.

It also caused for a greater trust in God and caused me to fully put all of my trust in Him and Him only because during that time I had been rejected especially by man, I had been told that this was the consequence due to sin and after that was said I started questioning my relationship with God and He reassured me that none of this was due to sin, but it was allowed so that He may be glorified.

HP: Sis. Amanda, as your journey continued, what else happened?

Sis. Amanda: As my journey continued, I went through various forms of treatments and tests known as EMR or electromyogram test which tested my nerves and that is when they said that I was permanently paralyzed and wouldn’t walk again.

HP: Sis. Amanda, Describe to me the day that you were totally healed and began to walk and dance.

Sis. Amanda: The day that I was healed was October 12, 2008, I was asked to dance in my wheelchair by my dance leader and I agreed as the time got near. I was nervous and told God that I wouldn't dance, however God again spoke to me and said "Dance daughter" So I danced to the song "Encourage yourself" by Donald Lawrence, sang originally by Sheri Jones-Moffett,.

HP: Had u been listening to this particular song for a long time or how did u happen to dance in your wheel chair to this particular song?

Sis. Amanda: Although I had not been listening to this song during my recovery period, my church choir ended up singing it for my Pastors Birthday celebration. Being that the dance team I was on was more so of a prophetic dance team, we danced as the choir sang and it just so happened that they began to sing "Encourage Yourself", My dance leader being led by the spirit told me that God wanted me to dance as they sung that particular song.

HP: What else happened on that day?

Sis. Amanda: As I begin to dance in my wheelchair, I felt heat go throughout my left leg and I began to have feeling in it so I decided to start kicking that leg as I danced. After I finished the dance, the congregation went into a high praise and awesome worship and I was pushed by my dance leader to the middle of the aisle where I continued to worship God.

It was then I heard God say "stand up" and I told God "huh? God you know I can’t walk let alone stand", but in obedience I stood. The church went into an uproar and some elders began to help me stay up and then I fell back down.

Then I continued to pray in the spirit and a man came and began to lay hands on me and pray for me and as he reached my ankle, I felt a surge of heat go throughout my body and I literally leaped out of the chair and started jumping. After that I danced the whole night.

After I stopped dancing, My Apostle had the man that prayed for me to come up and give words, it was then that it was revealed that this man operated in the gift of healing. God gave me revelation concerning why I fell when the elders were trying to hold me up, and He told me that " I fell because He wanted it to be known that It was Him doing this alone and not man"

HP: Sis. Amanda this is my last question, one of the things that stood out to me after hearing your testimony of God's healing power in your life was how you look at things now since your recovery. How has this journey affected you and your life?

Sis. Amanda: Wow, that is an awesome question. To sum that up, all I can say is I no longer take anything for granted. There was a time where I couldn’t stand walking places, after going through this I prefer to walk. There was a time where I got upset with God for every pain I got in my body, now I thank Him that I can feel it. There was a time that I took spending time with God for granted, but now I do not because I realize that there was a point where people had to go through someone to have access to God but this whole journey showed me how much I should value the time that I am able to spend with God.

HP: Hey! Hey! Hey!

Sis. Amanda: I value the fact that I do not have to wait to talk to a Pastor or a 3rd party to get to God but I can go to Him directly. I take nothing for granted and in all things I have learned there is a specific and divine purpose on why God allows things to happen. I know that He allowed this so that others may be blessed and increase in faith and embrace their healing.

HP: Hallelujah! Glory to God!!! Hey! Sis. Amanda come on here, you gone make me shout up in here! Hallelujah!!!! My goodness gracious! Hallelujah.

Sis. Amanda: Hallelujah Praise God. I thank Him for allowing me to go through this.....It just blesses my soul because no one can convince me that God is not a healer or deliverer. When the enemy said no God said yes, when the enemy spoke death. God said you shall LIVE...and I am doing just that. Living according to every word that proceedeth out of His mouth! Hallelujah

HP: Glory to God!!!!! Amen!!! Sis. Amanda, I want to thank you so very much for doing this interview with me to share with all of our face book friends and family. Would you please have the last word as we close this interview out!!!

Sis. Amanda: I want to thank you also Precious Helen for allowing God to use you as the conduit to get this message of His healing power out. I pray that all who read and all those who are connected to those that read this will be truly strengthened in faith and it will be a blessing to all!
