Jamgrass started back in 1973 with Boulder’s Magic Music. Their story is in the movie “40 Years in the Making: The Magic Music Movie” which is now available on Amazon Prime and iTunes!

Other Colorado bands including String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band and Leftover Salmon followed in Magic Music’s footsteps, bringing jamgrass to the world.

See Leftover Salmon tonight and tomorrow night at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco for a mountain Halloween bash!

One of our favorites, Weir is a graduate of Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs, where he met Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow.

It has been almost a year since we inducted our “Jazz Masters & Beyond” class!

Since, we’ve been creating a tribute exhibit that truly reflects the depth and power of these musicians.

The exhibit and short film about them will premiere next month at the CMHOF Red Rocks facility in the Trading Post!
