An LA staple. Come for the seasonal green corn tamales or other recipes that date back to the 1920's. The dates of origin are on the menu. Also, they make a kick ass Margarita! Best to take the metro to this location. While you can pay for parking, on game/concert days at Staples it becomes an order of magnitude more difficult and expensive to park. Also, this place fills up with pre-game crowds. Check the game schedule when you are looking for a quick bite.

Best Mexican Food in Los Angeles. They are a chain now but the food and drinks are good at all their locations. This one is convenient to LA Live and the convention center.

Everything we had was very good and the service was very great. I recommend the guacamole made right at your table, sangria and enchiladas were also yummy!

It's historic and staff is great. ....Mexican food is average for LA standards and a bit overpriced for what you get

The food here is good. The patio /bar area is nice spot to dine while enjoying their delicious margaritas! I've been coming here for years and it won't disappoint. Parking is $5 with validation.

I was there in April of 2014, the food was good but I was disappointment with my order. I ordered the chile rellenos. However, instead of a bell pepper covered in egg batter with cheese inside I got a block of cheese covered in thin egg batter with a sliver of bell pepper inside.
