Brighten your stained tub by combining equal amounts of cream of tartar & baking soda with enough lemon juice to make a paste. Rub the mixture into the stain with your fingers or a soft cloth. Let sit for a half hour, then rinse well with water.

From our first meeting with Jack to the completion of our roofing project, I was very impressed with Straightline. Everyone we worked with was professional and courteous, and the project was completed in a timely manner. There was a minor problem with some nails showing through on an overhang, but the supervisor noticed it when he came out for the final inspection and promptly sent someone out to fix it. I am 100% satisfied with the repair job. My husband and I also chose a color of gutter that ended up being very different than we expected, and Straightline helped us find a better match and came back the next day to install them. I really appreciated their concern for the appearance of our project, especially since it was our mistake, not theirs. Our roof looks great, and more importantly, we have not had any leaking since it was installed, and we've had some heavy rain storms and wind since then. That was the real test, and Straightline passed with flying colors!

Straightline is an excellent company. They did everything as planned and on schedule, keeping us informed each day on what was happening. Each day they cleaned up before they left, leaving everything spotless at our El Dorado Hills home. They are a very ethical, Christian company. They replaced part of our siding, installed a new front door and slider, and then painted the entire outside. Excellent work. And a friendly staff as well.

Over the years we have had 14 different jobs done for us over 3 different houses by 11 different contractors. Out of the 11 contractors, 3 have done exceptional work, to the point where we hired them again in the future, b/c they made what is usually a very stressful, tiring, and aggravating event almost fun. SLC is one of those 3. In 2006, they put on a new roof for us on our Placerville house. Reasonably priced and well done. The crew were friendly, efficient, and willing to listen to questions and comments on what we might like done differently. Overall we had a good experience with them, and the minor issues we did have, left over nails and roofing debris, plus incorrect solar tube placement, were dealt with immediately upon notification and with a good attitude. When it came time to redo our decks, we called SLC as well as one of the other companies we had received good work from. Both were reasonably priced, but SLC brought theirs slightly down below the other and was able to get us cable railing for much cheaper thus capturing our business. Their crew was superb, esp the supervisor, Brian. They worked conscientiously the entire 3.5 days it took to do the job. Initially we did checked things to make sure the job was being done well, but stopped quickly b/c we noticed that without our saying anything, the crew would fix something not quite right, or complete it as they went along, and didn't skip the little details or just do the "good enough" type of work that we have had to supervise with other companies. If we found something, it was minor, and Brian would nicely fix it or change it, or make suggestions on how to do it differently or take our suggestions, all without coming across angry, resentful or annoyed, it was such a change from most of our experiences with other projects and other companies. Even some companies that had come highly recommended and weren't the cheapest, ended up with us having to ride herd on them to supervise their work. This didn't happen here, and that is truly a rarity in our experience. SLC also offers reasonably priced exterior painting, so we scheduled with them. We picked the Sherwin Williams 25 year paint, and were scheduled for 1.5 months out, perfect as it allowed us to make some repairs and changes to the outside of the house before getting it painted. Prep" day was pressure wash and caulk. Sean came out alone and was pleasant and answered all questions. Next day was taping, spraying on a primer/glue coat, then the first coat of the base paint and rolling it for good absorption. Then sprayed on a second coat. I pointed out places the paint was absorbed so well that it needed another coat, and they redid those areas plus others they found. 3rd day finishing up, the painting looked good, and Bob walked around with me to check job. I discovered 6 areas that were already peeling or where the new paint had just been painted over peeling old paint. We also discovered scratched off paint where the ladders had been, so he fixed those, and picked up any trash that was lying around. The scheduled time for fixing wouldn't work for me, so they sent over Sean at a more convenient time, which I appreciated. He nicely fixed all the areas. After he left, I found that they had painted over the door bell by the garage, gluing the button in place, tho we managed to cut it out. Our paint job does look lovely, and while we would still recommend this company for roofing and decks, I am not sure that their painting guys have the same expectations of what painting entails. In our experience, the worst part of painting is the sanding and scraping, something that they didn't do without my asking. However, they repaired or redid areas that I was dissatisfied with nicely without any complaints, which isn't something that you always run into.

We had the roof and gutters replaced on our home in Camino. Everything was done exactly as described and on time. This was one of the best experiences we've ever had with any company large or small. I recommend Straight Line for any home project you have.

I am very happy I chose Straight Line Construction to replace my roof. The President, Jack, was very patient when answering all my questions and gave me plenty of options. The Foreman, Noe, and the guys did a great job, very friendly. The project was completed within two days. I will be choosing Straight Line for all my future projects. It's been almost 2 months since they did the roof on my house. Still looks great. I just had Straight Line come back and do the roof on my garage. They did a wonderful job. They were quick, precise, and neat. Plan on doing business with them again.

We had a new roof & gutter guards installed by Straight Line and the whole process took just a couple of days, from estimate to tear off to final clean up. They are a great company to work with. Honest, fair, quality work. By far the best company in their category.
