Updated progress of #shrinking #fibroids with the "Watch and Wait' method: goo.gl/CFwWTD

I'm showing proof that the 'Watch and Wait' Method for Large Fibroids DOES work.....taking action is the key. The latest additions my natural therapy has been yoga, using castor oil packs (3x on, 3x off) and employing frankincense and myrrh essential oils in aromatherapy. I encourage anyone with fibroids to explore the natural/alternative route BEFORE deciding on any invasive procedure. If you take a few weeks to make changes in diet, start an exercise routine, employ some nutritional supplementation and herbal remedies, make time to just relax, think, let go and release the b.s. that may be going on in your life, it is likely that you will see your body respond positively towards shrinking your fibroids/improving menstrual health, balancing your hormones, and attain an overall sense of feeling good.

Free 'Tuesday Tastings', Reds and Whites, offered at Blu.!

If you want to expand your wine palette, Blu. Chop House has just what you need. Weekly wine tastings are now offered every Tuesday in the Cellar, from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. Come sample wines from around the world, and get some wine education, to boot. Alex Di Mare, the in-house Sommelier at Blu., will showcase domestic and international wines to help the residents of Gadsden (and those from afar) increase and build on their wine knowledge. These tastings can accommodate the Wine Newbie, as well as the Wine Connoisseur.

Each week, a Red or White wine will be thematically chosen and paired with light hors d'oeuvres that compliment the nuances of each sip. Blu. Chop House Offers Gadsden, AL A New Hot Spot for Lunch

Every once and a while, our senses need a wake-up call – and that's exactly what lunch at Blu. Chop House offers. The long-awaited, highly anticipated lunch at Blu. is now in effect. As the “brainchild” of Franco Antonelli, an established Gadsden businessman, Blu. Chop House is growing up fast, and is giving intense competition to the more established, surrounding dining venues in the area. Under the tutelage exacted by his son, Alex DiMare (Certified Sommelier), and the creative directive of Chef J.P. Pendergrass, Blu. Chop House is being pruned as a thoroughbred to sprint in the midst Alabama's dining/culinary raceway.

In place of the ubiquitous hamburgers, wings and cheese fries, Blu. lends itself to a more elegant dining selection for mid-day munchies. In addition, the subtle yet sophisticated ambiance is flexible enough for an intimate lunch for two, as well as a high powered, extended business meeting for a large group. Lunch is offered from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M., so you can take your time and dine as you make a deal.

Chef J.P maintains the highest standards with lunch preparations as he does for dinner. “Just because lunch is done at a quicker pace, doesn't mean I will skimp on quality and detail. I bring the same game face and strategy to lunch that I include for dinner”, says Chef. There are a few favorites plucked from the dinner menu, but enhanced with different accents. For example, the Classic Wedge, Caesar and (forever favorite) Beet Salad are included on the Lunch menu, but offered in entree sizes, and with Chicken, Gulf Shrimp or Black Angus Steak add-ons. A cup and bowl offering of the Soup of the Day allows for a pairing complement, or a complete meal option (with house-made Bavarian bread, and honey-whipped butter on the side, of course).

Another favorite that's offered at lunch is the Pork Belly BLT: a fried green tomato place on a cushion of tomato jam, spread with pimento cream cheese, then crowned with a crispy-fried pork belly – this makes life worth living! Seafood additions include a fried oyster appetizer based on the traditional Rockefeller preparation, with spinach, bacon and a touch of Pernod, and a Yellow Fin Tuna entree, served with a Chipotle fig jam, rustic corn hoecake, and a cabbage slaw. With deference to the local coastal waters, a Blackend Grouper is also on the menu, accented with a Chiffon lime aioli.

Reflections of the restaurant's namesake, 'Chop House', include a Prime Rib sandwich, and a lean Flat Iron steak. And yes, there are burgers, but they are 'gourmet' in quality of beef, size and presentation: The Classic Burger features ¾ lb of in-house ground Black Angus beef, and the new Blu. Burger takes caramelized onion and blue brie cheese complements to new heights. One other 'something different' you will find extraordinary is the Smoked Sausage sandwich, with roasted red peppers, onions and provolone cheese – Yum!

Now that Blu. Chop House is open for both lunch AND dinner, there's no excuse to not experience Gadsden's newest, fine dining venue. Lunch is offered Monday through Friday, 11 A.M.- 2 P.M. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, 3 P.M – 6 P.M. Dinner is served Monday through Thursday, 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday through Saturday, 5 P.M. - 10 P.M.

Call (256) 438-5588 for reservations, as tables fill up quickly.
 Bon Appetit!

Blu. Chop House Adds Splash of Color to Fine Dining in Gadsden, #Alabama
Blu. Chop House, the newest restaurant to open in Gadsden, Alabama, is also the city's first Fine Dining venue. While serving up locally procured prime cuts of meats, the freshest seafood and innovative American fare with hints of Cajun, Creole and Italian nuances, the restaurant's physical layout is reminiscent of 'big city' dining scenes that are akin to those found in New York, Las Vegas or L.A. Once you walk into Blu., you have to remind yourself that you are (surprisingly) still in Gadsden.

The “Blu.” vision was the brainchild of Franco Antonelli, a long-time Gadsden resident, businessman and restauranteur. With the assistance of his son, Alex DiMare, who is a Food and Beverage Professional and Certified Sommelier, coupled with the culinary genius of Chef J.P. Pendergrass, a recipe for a first-class, fine dining venture was brought to fruition. The goal was to provide something new and exciting to Gadsden that had never been done before, as well as create a top-notch dining presentation that allowed locals to 'stay home', instead of trekking to larger, nearby cities like Birmingham or Montgomery for a special dining experience. Fine dining can now be experienced in Gadsden's own back yard.

Recent, seasonal menu offerings include a Charcuterie Board with imported meats and cheeses, Burrata with heirloom tomatoes complimented with a basil pesto, a 22 oz double Bone-in Duroc Pork Chop with a Creole mustard demi, a 16 oz. Boneless Ribeye (that can be paired with one, or more of your choice of four glorious sauces on the side), the Crab meat Mac and Cheese, and the Bacon-infused
Creme brulee, that is garnished with bacon chips dipped in semi-sweet chocolate. Mouthwatering pictures can be seen on Instagram,@bluchophouse.

Blu. Chop House also offers a generous and comfortable bar space that can accommodate up to 15 people, as well as high-top bar tables that provide for both dining, or just cocktails. The dining room is intimate and elegant. Although there is limited seating capacity, parties of up to twenty can be accommodated comfortably. Smooth traditional and progressive Jazz tunes accentuate a relaxed ambiance for consummate enjoyment. The progressive Wine list offers a non-intimidating mix of traditional and esoteric varietals that appeals to all palettes, and the seasonal Specialty cocktails are all hand-crafted from an eclectic effort. The downstairs 'Cellar', which houses the “wet” stock, is being cultivated to operate as a Wine and Spirits outlet and private Tasting Room in the near future. The Sommelier is always delighted to give Patrons a tour.

The restaurant is aptly nestled in Downtown Gadsden, bringing a new shade of 'Blu' to old, historic Broad St.

Although reservations for Blu. Chop House are not necessary, they are strongly recommended due to the buzz it has created since opening in May, 2016. Besides, who wants to wait to get a taste of Blu.?

Go to www.bluhchophouse.com for more information, visit Blu. Chop House on Facebook, or call (256) 438-5588 for reservations.
