Alrighty. Here I go, jumping off of a cliff today. Want to leap with me? I've launched my first crowdfunding campaign. Please check it out, and share the link below! You'll support entertaining brainfood. If you're more into gaming than fiction writing, still take a look -- I'll also be running a series of vids here about using rpg worlds for story settings, since much of my fiction in this project has that genesis.
See you there, and don't forget to share!

What's the right price for an ebook if it's your first novel? Some observations and recommendations based on the current state of ebook pricing for indie publishers and authors.

I don't post on this, my G+ author page, very much. I think maybe because it feels a bit redundant to other places I post. But I guess I won't know how effective this page really is unless I use it more, right? OK so this is me resolving to post here more frequently, to see if this is a better way to connect with readers and like-minded others than some other venues.

It's finally here! The Gazetteer Writer's Manual by myself and Bruce Heard (who masterminded many a Mystara gazetteer) - the ONE book to have if you want to document a fictional setting and introduce others to it easily. Great for writers as well as game designers. Special intro discounts will go away in a few days, so check it out now while you can get a deal: http://bit.ly/gwmbookpg

World Building Tips Vol 1 launching on Mon--scavenger hunt wins free copies this weekend. Details at World Building Academy tomorrow! I'm excited about this because it's the first non-fiction book I've published, and it's all the cool stuff I've been writing about fictional worlds lately to my WBA mailing list. I'll post again with a link for the book and contest info on Friday.

SPLINTEGRATE has been delivered in its final form! (That means it's close to hitting the publication pipeline). More here on the wacky process and odd revelations I had while bringing the book to a close.  (Splintegrate is in the Fall release schedule from Tor Books.)
