became a follower of Christ, experiencing trials was probably not at the top of
your list of expectations.   We often talk
of the peace and the hope and the strength that comes from our relationship
with Him, but we forget to acknowledge some hards...

Deserts
When I think of a desert, I usually picture something like this: Or maybe something like this: No matter which desert you're thinking of, one thing is consistent: deserts are dry.  Whether they're hot or cold (yes, I learned that there are even cold deserts...

Love...With All Your Heart
It seems a little ironic to me that I would start my "Love..." series with this topic, what with my declaration of how much I despise manufactured mushy, lovey feelings.  (No clue what I'm talking about?  Take a quick detour and read what I have against Val...

The Moment That Changes Everything
There are moments in history that define each one of us, moments that completely change the course of our lives.  Whether they are marked by a decision or an event or an encounter, our lives look drastically different than they did the moment before. Think ...

The Playdough Principle: Five (Short) Lessons On How To Be Playdough
Yesterday I introduced you to " The Playdough Principle ," the idea that when we face adversity, we should be moldable (like playdough) and allow God to use those difficult circumstances to shape us into His own image. But how do
we allow ourselves to be cl...

Finding Your Way Out of the Desert
I grew up in a little farm town in South Central Kansas.  Even so, deep down I'm a city girl.  Maybe not "big city," but certainly not "roughing it in the wild," either.   I was even a Girl Scout for most of my elementary school years.  Still, I'd rather sl...

I'm just an ordinary girl trying to let God do some EXTRAordinary things through me!
Introduction
My name is Angela Clark Logan, although most people know me as Angie...or Mom...or Mrs. Logan.  I am currently a "stay at home" mom, although I prefer to call myself a Child Development and Household Management Specialist.  When I'm not chasing my kids or cleaning up after them or snuggled up close with them, I am busy pursuing my passion of studying and teaching God's Word.  It is my heart's truest desire to be used by God to shine His light into our dark world.
