Thinking of traveling to the New Hampshire Seacoast this fall? With several of New Hampshire’s best wineries located nearby, The Inn at the Bandstand is the perfect central location for your visit.
New Hampshire’s oldest winery, Jewell Towne Vineyard’s, is located nine miles south of Inn at the Bandstand, in South Hampton. Awarded the best New Hampshire Winery in 2014, Jewell Towne Vineyards has won over 150 medals for their wines. At Jewell Towne, visitors can enjoy a complimentary tasting of five wines, along with a tour of the vineyards and wine cellars. Six miles to the southwest of Inn at the Bandstand is Sweet Baby Vineyard in East Kingston. Sweet Baby Vineyard is a boutique winery known for their handcrafted red wines, white wines and award-winning fruit wines. They offer complimentary wine tastings as well as the option to purchase selected cheese plates for the perfect pairing. At Flag Hill Winery & Distillery, located about 13 miles north of The Inn at the Bandstand in Lee, visitors can enjoy a tour of the vineyard, the winery and the distillery. The vineyards produce native North American grapes in both red and white varietals, both of which are available to sample in the winery’s tasting room. Flag Hill is also New Hampshire’s first distillery, producing vodka, liqueurs, brandy and gin, all of which are also available in the tasting room. Located in a picturesque hardwood forest in Sandown, Zorvino Vineyards is approximately 17 miles from The Inn at the Bandstand. Zorvino strives to bring a touch of Italy to the Seacoast, with European-inspired varietals including Sangiovese, Valpolicella, Montepulciano, Moscato and Pinot Grigo.
