This place was AWFUL. Saw the Dave Matthews concert here this summer. The venue has one entrance, guaranteeing a traffic snarl miles long. Ended up spending several hours in the line, completely missed the opening act, even though we left the hotel (5 miles away) several hours early. Watched as people got out of cars and walked past us as we were in line, quickly outdistancing us. Getting out was just as much of a mess, if not more. They had one police officer directing traffic at the exit, where they were really not even needed. They had no one in the parking lot itself, which resulted in a bottle neck of thousands of cars all jockeying to get out of one exit. On top of that, the pavilion itself is some kind of overengineered steel girder monstrosity, guaranteeing that if you have lawn seats, the only way you can see ANYTHING is to watch the jumbo-tron. 0/10, would NEVER even consider returning for any reason. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Great place for concerts, but the price for pop or any beverage for that matter is just ridiculous. It's just very expensive. On top of that, they don't give free water, or even have a decent amount of water fountains. It's ridiculous that we still have to deal with these insane prices for something that is decent right outside the gates.

I have been a long time fan of Jimmy Buffett and attended many many concerts at Riverbend to see him (and other bands).... The experience I had on July 16th left me with the feeling that I will NEVER go back to Riverbend. Regardless of the construction, the idea that management would force people to park more than 1/2 mile away from the venue and make them WALK in 90+ degree heat is unthinkable. We pulled into the "free" provided parking area and right back out.... we parked down the street and paid for a cab both ways. Not only could we tailgate down the street, we had real bathrooms and SHADE (neither of which were not provided in the RIVERBEND parking area.) The staff in parking was absolutely clueless, and the venue itself was way understaffed. From this point forward I will boycott the home of Parrotheadism and try to remember the goodtimes I had there previously.

I have been sitting in the parking lot for over an hour trying to leave. We have moved two cars. The auditorium was bad enough without this. Figure it out Cincinatti.

Really enjoy concerts here, but have issue with how they do tickets. Even after joining clubs to get presale, it's not enjoyable to hear that the presale only gets seats barely in the pavilion. To make matters worse, there is no way to speak with a person from Riverbend to resolve. Highly disappointed and will choose to spend my money elsewhere if this is how it will continue.
