I'm kind of bewildered by those people who loudly respond along the lines of "I worked full-time throughout school, incurred massive student debt, work eighteen hours a day at two jobs and have no health insurance, but I'm not complaining. I don't expect anything handed to me."
If you put in that kind of effort, make that kind of sacrifice, I want the system to reward you. I want you to get rich, not just "barely making it, and proud of it!"
The card on my Xbox Live account is an old, defunct card. I have changed my password.
You guys who use Xbox Live should be careful, though. Apparently ID thieves are using leaked information from other sites/PSN and going through buying points on accounts that use the same UN/PW combination, then somehow gifting them to other accounts. It's happened to (apparently) a lot of other people, including one guy who says he watched it in real time as it happened.
So if you live in Raleigh/Durham, today is Customer Appreciation Day at Jimmy John's. Come in between 11-3 for $1 subs. Just a suggestion though - if you don't want to be completely swamped, come between 1:30 and 3. Take a late lunch. Just sayin'.
Thanks, Mr. Olbermann, for giving these people the voice they needed. It's really awesome and pretty touching to hear their statement read out loud, in full. Stole this from Cassie Conner on Facebook. Cross-posted, again, because I think it's important for EVERYONE to see.
