No, the SETI Institute doesn't just search for ET . . . their work is much broader than that. It was my pleasure last week to assist Jeff Richardson in facilitating their annual retreat at Asilomar. So many brilliant scientists/researchers and committed support professionals! This was a great follow up to my work with the Frontier Development Lab this summer, which was co-sponsored by SETI/NASA. https://www.seti.org/node/647

Yesterday we had 10 participants at my PMI Silicon Valley Workshop "The Possibilities Toolbox". Many were extremely experienced professionally, and yet they expressed great appreciation for the practical reminders that "common sense is not common practice". https://pmisv.org/283-event/career-development-workshop/1466-career-development-workshop-the-possibilities-toolbox-12-keys-to-an-unstoppable-team

Friday I facilitated the kick-off day for Leadership San Mateo, a 1 year program for community leaders who want to learn more about our county and leadership, both personal and professional. I've been doing this kickoff almost every year for a decade thanks to the referral of my friend Dr. Marilyn Manning. It's wonderful to see business executives, non-profit executives, government officials, police chiefs and fire department captains working together, learning about leadership and having fun! http://leadershipprogram.net/the-program/

In August I got a chance to work in Hungary for the first time - facilitating a kickoff of a global leadership alumni network for a company I've been working with every summer for the past 7 years. Budapest is an amazing city! And the people of FETI are brilliant. http://furukawa.co.hu/?page_id=6

I was working in Boston last month with Medrobotics on their project management process. They've been using my book "Scrappy Project Management" as their guide to projects for the past couple of years. What interesting science and technology! http://medrobotics.com/gateway/flex-system-int/
