The west side of the store didn't have an awning for us to stand on so we had to use our boom truck & rent a boom from @AmericanRentals to reach the 30-40ft height on the wall where the sign needed to be.
Nearly done, we taped the 'M' until the silicon dries to the wall. To keep the styrofoam letters on we anchored all thread bolts an inch into the wall, spread silicon on the back of each letter & impaled them to the all threads in the wall, giving it a good solid hold.

Here we have one of our installation crew drilling holes into the side of the Los Al @GanahlLumberCo so we can put up their 4ft tall styrofoam letters.
That white sheet you see is a guided outline of the letters so we can see where the sign will be on the wall, letting us drill holes in the right place. Making sure the outline is straight, level & centered is the most important part or else "Ganahl Lumber" would be tilted & unpleasant to the eye. And nobody likes a "sign for sore eyes"

This exterior Monument Sign has a wooden base which has been stuccoed for weatherproofing, painted and decorated with Routed PVC letters, and an aluminum cap. Remco Property Management asked for a tight budget on this sign, so instead of making the frame from .080 aluminum as we normally would, we had a cabinetmaker and master carpenter that shares the next space in our industrial park, John Haight framed the base with 1-1/8" tongue and groove sub-floor plywood, which gave us a very inexpensive starting point on this sign, and saved 50% of the material and labor costs for my friend and client Drew Baker, of Remco Real Estate and Property Management.
