My husband surprised me for my birthday with a couples massage to A New Day Spa, and it could not have gone more perfectly. The receptionist was pleasant and offered us courtesy relaxation time in the sauna because of the traffic causing the massage therapists to be late. Our therapists Karin and Drew were amazing and helped us feel very comfortable. I will recommend this location to anybody that needs an amazing massage and amazing service!!

THIS WAS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY YOU COULD EVER SPEND!!!!! I have never had a massage that I wished was over sooner. My girlfriends and I went on a weekend away and there was not a single one of us 4 that enjoyed our experience. The person that gave me my massage was moving so fast that my body felt like it was on a vibrating table. It actually made me anxious she was moving so fast. Her hands were so dry that it scratched my back. Then at the end she was stretching my arms so hard my body was lifting off the table. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and all I wanted was to relax and I left anxious. Afterwards me and my girlfriends were texting as we moved to the next thing. My friend told me she had the facial from hell. She said the room was nasty and there was a big yellow stain on the sheet. 5 min later I was texting her because I was in the bed with the big yellow stain. THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE SHEETS. There was no facial massage or anything during our 60 min facial. They put the stuff on, left for 25-30 min came back rinsed, and applied the next thing left for another 15-20 min, came back and rinsed. Each time a different person. Then when we were leaving to go to our pedi I realized that the 2 of us in the room had the SAME BOWL OF WATER they used to rinse our rags for our face! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! I wanted to throw up! Then our pedi...there were 3 of us getting one at the same time and they didn't have enough people so there were 2 different people doing 3 of ours, then one left for another client so that left 1 and then a little later another one came in to help finish. So really it was a 20 min pedi but we had to sit there for an hour! We were bored, tired, and sick that we actually had to pay for it! Seriously we should have been paid to sit through that! After we left we all said we just paid a heck of a lot of money for the experience of living through the worst spa experience of our lives. There is no way any of those people were certified and this place should be shut down for being unsanitary!!! DON'T DO IT!

The host at the lobby was very nice and attentive. The staff was professional and extremely nice. Its a smaller spa, but the masseuses Katie and Vanessa were excellent. I would go again.

I'm not sure where to begin.I went to a New Day with my company, we had a client in from out of town and were treating him to a spa day. I was so embarrassed. Everything was laughable. I was given a "couples massage" with one of my coworkers because they didn't have room for us to have private massages even though our reservation was for seven people, then they seemed upset with us that they had given us strawberries and juice but we weren't a real couple.. Nothing about the room we were put in was relaxing, the room was bright and the music was more upbeat and religious than the usual soothing music played in spas. The robes we were given were the cheapie microfiber ones you can buy at Walmart, not the thick terry cloth ones other spas use and the slippers were so old the velcro would stay on. My robe didn't cover my bottom and I'm a fairly short woman, still the lady paraded me through the spa, past my boss, when I said I had to use the restroom. Later another lady said, I don't know why you are wearing that one, we have plenty of robes.. The pedicures were very poorly done. There were bottles of bleach and cleaners piled in the corner for cleaning out the foot spas after use. They have few color choices and didn't have the little toe separators to keep from smearing your polish. A top coat wasn't used so by the next day my polish was chipping off. The facial was a joke, two cleansers, a scrub, which was never fully wiped off, oxygen, then lotion. I walked out of there with product all over my face. My 23 year old coworker was told that she really should do something about the hair on her chin and they could give her discount on the laser package. I am so embarrassed that out of all the beautiful, luxurious spas in Utah we took our client to A New Day. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I don't believe that you can go in to this business with your $30 Groupon expecting the Grand America Spa so my expectations were realistic. I had a pedicure, facial, and massage for $89 which is an incredible deal. The facial and pedicure were fine. They weren't terrible but I've had better. The massage was great and my therapist Fathima was very professional and did a wonderful job. A few things really bothered me about this experience: 1) the conduct of some of the employees was extremely unprofessional. There was no uniform dress code - one of the male employees looked like he was on his way to a construction job. Some of them were eating their lunch in full view of me while I was getting a pedicure. A couple of them were joking around and dancing in the lobby ... 2) The rooms were a little cluttered and the staff was disorganized which made it hard to relax. 3) The owner of the business told me how much I needed to tip. I thought that was extremely tacky and inappropriate.

To sum it up: DISGUSTING, DISORGANIZED, and a JOKE. The 1 star rating is GENEROUS. The staff was very unprofessional, and I'm pretty sure unlicensed. The beds in the facial rooms are nasty, and the linens don't get changed. My friend and I swapped stories and had the same large yellow stain on the sheets. (We had back to back facials.) Our treatments took way longer than expected because they were understaffed. It was the most torturous couple hours I've had in a LONG time. My pedicure was shit - I have half a paint job on 4 of my toes. The people who worked there should have been dressed cleanly and professionally. Instead everyone wore what they want, most didn't brush their hair. My pedicure was done at the same time by the same girl who was doing my friend's facial - we just kept getting abandoned partway through our treatments - she probably didn't even wash her hands before she went and put my feet germs all over my friend's face. The bathrooms were disgusting, trash overflowing, stained rugs, and the soap dispenser was full of water. We should have left when we walked in. I'm furious we paid what we did. No wonder they're on Groupon, that's the ONLY way they can stay in business. I highly doubt they have many repeat customers if any. The thought of the place makes my skin crawl. The positive reviews on here cannot be accurate - they are family and friends trying to do them a favor. I am definitely reporting this "spa" to the health department and the BBB. Wish I could call the police. These people were crooks.

I have not gone in for my massage yet, because I have been calling nonstop the past week to try to make an appointment. I thought maybe they had gone out of business? And you can't leave a VM. Finally a nice lady answered today and I was able to make an appointment for a couples massage (from Groupon). After reading all the scary reviews, I am not expecting much, so I mostly want to just get our money's worth and get out of there. It doesn't sound very comfortable or nice, but hopefully the massage itself will me alright.

Bought a couples Massage for a cop friend who constantly having lower back problems is for Valentines. The manager was very unprofessional and rude over the phone with me when I was trying to book the apt. and asked that I call back the next week. (I didn't end up calling because i didn't want to talk to her). We finally get it booked for 2 weeks later (which was also annoying). Upon arrival the manager was acting spastic on the phone and asked the customer on the line to call back because they were Hectic....We were the only 2 in the lobby, so this made me think back to when I called and was told the same thing... Super Unprofessional. we had an appointment and were waiting for almost an hour to get into the room because they were under staffed. *SKIP TO MASSAGE*. To top off the 2 working on my friend and I were terrible. Their techniques were a joke (like the karate chopping thing people joke about when talking about massages). My notes on "problem areas that need extra attention" were completely ignored as were my friends. Its like they focused on specific spots that seemed to have knots on my shoulders, then lower back, COMPLETELY NEGLECTED the middle section on my back, and put pressure on those "knots" for a few minutes and then skipped to the next "Knot" (some i'm sure were not and might have been Muscles and Tendons that should have been left alone). Long story short..... I left in 3x as much pain as I walked in with + a bad attitude. Completely ruined my week & it was only a Wednesday...
