Any suggestions for a beer to pair with an Espresso/Coffee and Cajun spice rubbed fillet mignon? I'd prefer something that I can get in Texas or anything anyone would be willing to send or trade for.

Thanks!

Great suggestions. I was already thinking the lagunitas. Yeti sounds good too. Hadn't thought of figaro, I need to try it again and see if its as sweet as I remember and I don't have a belgian matched up with anything on the menu yet so that might be a good option.

Just opened a New Belgium Cocoa Mole. Ale with cocoa and spices. I'm really liking this beer. Strong cinnamony aroma with a nice chocolate taste and then you get all the spice from the pepper at the end that gets you right in the back of the throat.

What's the hardest part of my P90x workout plan? Cutting back on my craft beer intake... So as a reward for making it through my first 5 weeks I decided to crack open a bottle of Oak Aged Yeti to get me through my next 4 weeks. If you could only have 1 beer a month, what would your options be be?

Sure...300-500+ calories per pint...waste all the effort...intake as many calories as (or more than) you expend...see no results. Might be fine if you're already at the fitness level and physique you want to achieve, but some of us have higher expectations of ourselves.

Do I really need to point out that employing the "any beer you want, any time you want it" method is what landed us in this predicament of being out of shape fat asses to begin with?

We want to reach out to a bar in EVERY Texas House & Senate district to spread the word of who we are, what we're doing and how people can help! So, what are your favorite bars (or craft-friendly restaurants!). it's important that legislators know that beer reform issues are important to business owners & constituents! So, what are your favorite bars?!

I can't wait to get over to The Hay Merchant. A brand new craft beer bar in Houston with 75 taps, 5 more of them on cask/beer engines and the "Mud Turtle" Program looks like a must join. Check the website for a list of current beers.

Water is served from 40oz Bud and Bud Light bottles/pitchers... Nice!
