Any Keurig users out there? I'm not one - because I drink far too much coffee for it to be cost effective. But I can't imagine anybody buying a coffee maker that required me to use ONE BRAND of coffee.

This guy draws comics of people's deep dark fears. It's called Deep Dark Fears and I think it's awesome:

Goodbye old guitar, hello new. I try not to form attachments to physical objects but I must admit to giving a little sniff when I pulled you out of your road case for the last time. We've been through a lot together.

There isn't anyplace within three states like it. Accept the wait for what it is: the universe indicating that you ought to eat here.

Be aware that the campground is actually IN a wetland. The mosquitoes are insane. Bring repellant and netting.

Here's the deal. The food really is good. The salad bar alone is nearly worth the price of admission. There's a lot of tasty meat ... although we aren't really breaking any boundaries here. But the overall "experience" is a little underwhelming. You can't help but feel like you are essentially repeating the experience of a buffet with better food. The whole thing felt like an experiment to see how impersonal a dining experience can be while still seeming "fancy" enough to command a premium price.

A perfectly respectable place to eat. The menu leans heavily toward the meats-on-buns-served-with-fries school of cooking. But to be fair, the burger is actually pretty good. The fried brussels sprouts are an awesome and bizarre standout in an otherwise fairly conservative selection. The service is friendly and excellent.

The artful menu, informed beer list, and dignified setting make this a standout in a region dominated by fried chicken, french fries, and Coors Light. My companion had the Ahi Tuna which was delicious, rare, and juicy. I had the Tiger Shrimp and Grits, which stands up favorably to anything I've had in Georgia. Docking a star for the musician. Normally live music is a plus, but Billy Joel covers played over a drum machine just doesn't do justice to this great setting. Get some real artists in there -- the place deserves it.

Is it "authentic greek food?" Nope. But they do a respectable gyro and that's what you wanted anyway.

If you like eating mediocre pizza in a loud, tacky chain with incredibly slow service... it's gotta be La Rosa's!
