My husband and I went here tonight, for our anniversary dinner. It was great! We had a wonderful dinner and the staff ~ everyone, was so nice. The manager came to our table to ask how things were. Our server, Jessica, was the best! Very attentive, checked on us regularly and was really friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food and the service was excellent.

I've been living in Wake Forest for 11 years, and couldn't find a decent restaurant to eat. For my birthday, my husband took me to Fleming's. I ordered the Caesar salad which was really delicious. My husband had a wedge of lettuce with zesty blue cheese and a slice of bacon. He also said it was wonderful. My husband and surf and turf, and I had an aged rib eye, which was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the onions rings and truffle mashed potatoes, which were also excellent. I can't understand people not giving Fleming's 5 stars because there wasn't one bad thing we had there. To top it off, our waiter Bill was on top of everything. He always made sure we were happy and that everything was good. Yes, it's expensive, so we wouldn't eat there more than twice a year, but everything was wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone. For the people who complained, I guess their taste buds are used to eating Golden Corral. I would highly recommend Fleming's for anyone who enjoys good food and service.

I went to Flemming's without much knowledge, just checking the menu on the web site. so, I had a bit of sticker shock when I realized steak prices were $45 and up. the restaurant is a nice wooden panneled chop house style. The quality of the food was very good, but in retrospect, the price still seems a bit high. Salads, and sides (like potato) run about $10. The service was very good. everything I saw looked perfectly cooked to order. The meal was heavy on the salt. I like salt on my food, but two days later, I'm still thinking of all the salt. This is s very nice place for an impressive date or event, but I can think of a dozen Raleigh restaurants I would prefer. rating: very good

This place is sub-par. For what they charge, you'd expect the food to be much better. Their management did not make an effort to apologize when my steak that was ordered was WAY overcooked. A fine steakhouse should not have this issue...this is something you'd expect if you order a steak at applebees. No thanks, I'll go to Sullivans or Jimmy V's.

Best steak I've ever tasted. Didn't even need sauce! It was hearty, juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My husband and I had dinner here for our 2nd anniversary and loved EVERYTHING (the wine, cocktails, entrées, sides, and desserts....really EVERYTHING). Our waitress, Jessica, was very patient, thorough, and attentive. Nothing like great service. We'll definitely request her when we return. I had the Chef's Special with the ribeye and 2 lobster cakes. My husband and I shared 2 sides (sold al la carte) of sautéed green beans and Au Gratin potatoes and they were very tasty. My husband raved about how the beans were cooked to perfection...lol. We each had our own desserts. I had the Walnut Turtle pie with vanilla ice cream and I demolished it. lol My husband had the cheesecake which he said was delicious as well. I'd highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

Not cheap, but extremely good food and service. Atmosphere is also nice. Would definitely eat at this location and other Fleming's based on my experience here.

I had my wedding reception here and loved it!!! Jennifer, the Private Dining Director is great!! I had a small wedding so their cocktail reception perfectly went with what I envisioned. All of my decorations were set up beautifully and the food was awsome. It was a very romantic setting. I also wanted to mentioned the servers they had to attend to my guests were equally as great! I would definitely suggest this venue for someone looking to throw a intimate and romantic event!!!

I knew this was a chain going in and hoped that at least it would be better than than the half dozen experiences w other business dinners I and colleagues had at Ruth Chris w/in last 1-2 years. It was pretty comparable, but disappointing none the less. Food is pretty average considering the pricing, steak not cooked to temperature requested. Manager took it away and offered to cook another, but no point when others were finding their steaks topped with an odd margarine flavor. Manager seemed as if this were pretty routine and not too concerned. Our server was great but spread thin trying to correct our orders and cover the other tables during busy period. Server was definitely the best part of our experience. So giving up on meetings here or Ruth Chris - both pretty mediocre and a big expense for my company. Will continue to find a venue that can provide an honestly good steak, properly prepared, with a genuine sense of hospitality.
