We are proud to sponsor SSE Fiddlers Ferry Power Station recent Charity Golf Day. A great day's golfing which raised £33,000 for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool, St Rocco's Hospice, Warrington and Halton Haven Hospice, Runcorn. Congratulations to all at Fiddlers Ferry for raising such a large amount of money for three great causes.

Reduction in Number of fatal injuries to employees (RIDDOR) 1974 to 2013/14

There has been a substantial reduction in the number of fatal injuries in construction in the last 40 years; nevertheless there were 42 fatal injuries to workers ‑ 14 of these fatalities were to the self-employed. This compares with an average of 46 over the previous five years – including an average of 17 to the self-employed (RIDDOR)...
