Great design museum in Copenhagen. If you would like to see some great Danish design throughout history, this is the place to visit. If you're a student or under 26 the museum is also free so it's definitely worth a visit!

If you have any interest in design, especially Danish, especially as it influenced the rest of the design world in the mid-20th century, you will love this museum. The contrast between the still-modern looking furniture produced by those who studied and researched here and the historic building is fascinating, but it's the attention the curators have given to detail, and to tracing historical roots of contemporary work, that makes it such a valuable experience. One of the highlights in a city crammed with attractions.

Very very nice. Typical classic futuristic danish design. Calm enviroment with alot of interesting information about those famous designers. If you are interested in furniture design you must go! A plus is that´s free for students!

It was really nicely thought out, and there was lots of points of interest for all ages. I especially liked the child play bits, I saw the children playing on them and thought about how children get bored at museums etc. The only thing I'd change is to clean it more, I found that everything was a little dusty. A lovely place to visit, I find. 😊

Worth a visit. Exhibition on Wegner's chairs was brilliant. Part of it was closed due to roof renovations during our visit but we still had a great couple of hours walking around.

Small but stunning museum with expectedly gorgeous design everywhere, from the exhibits to the beautiful cafe (which dishes up some extremely good cake - chocolate and prunes were our favourite). The museum covers all sorts, from Denmark's far past to the midcentury design they're famous for - this is a particular treat for home design/furniture fans. Entry seems reasonable for the time you can spend here, and there are cloakrooms to lock your bulky coats and bags in.
